Docsumo allows us to extract critical information from company invoices in order to automate the workload that traditionally requires manual processing. Over 2000 invoices a month are now handled automatically thanks to Docsumo extracting accurately and consistently the data we require. 2. The Docsumo team is responsive, responding to our issues and questions when they arise. 3. Uploading documents through a provided Python client library reduces time on development. That being said like any tool, it depends on the complexity of your problem. Docsumo took our problem, which is relatively complex due to variations from the same vendor sending different types of invoices, and managed to set up a system that works for us. Hats off to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Docsumo? Though minor, occasionally the Docsumo team can speak quite fast in their meetings. This makes it a little hard to follow what they're trying to get across and requires them to repeat themselves. Additionally, we have a variety of invoices from across our properties that need to be parsed. Unfortunately, because of the vast amount of variety in our invoices, Docsumo's systems can get mixed up occasionally when trying to extract data. I imagine this is a problem more unique to us, as we do have a wide variety of invoices. NOTE: Docsumo does wonderfully more often than not and we have someone who goes in to fix any misattributed invoices manually so it's more a minor inconvenience. Because of the volume of invoices we deal with, it became necessary for us to extract relevant information from them in order to formulate meaningful insights. Unfortunately, due to the sheer quantity, we began to look for a SAAS solution that would help us bridge the gap from scanned invoices to extracted data. Docsumo provides us with that service by validating the extracted data and pulling the necessary information for us. They provide webhooks that fire upon a document being processed, which made it easy for us to handle the data in a way that best fit our use-case. Overall, we're extremely satisfied! The DocSumo team has been incredibly helpful & supportive in our onboarding journey. They take our requests for the output seriously and work towards producing the most optimized outcome we'd like. They are also more than willing to fix bugs or any issues our team has encountered during and after the onboarding process. 2. The app is friendly-user and easy to navigate around. Our business has faced a real challenge in converting bank & credit card statements from PDF to actionable output without consuming much time. Our bookkeeping team has faced a critical issue of converting bank statements from PDF to Excel/CVS, which consumes a lot of time and does not produce the expected output. All the manual work in editing and revising the CSV output has been incredibly time-consuming, labor-intensive and inefficient. DocSumo has been a solution to this issue, and we can now have the output that we need in our hands in a matter of seconds.
