9. Managed accounts feature with which you can manage multiple child accounts within your parent account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Docparser?

Nothing much to dislike this solution but it would be great if automatic recharge and top-up of the pages would be done intelligently upon exhausting the available pages.

right now I need to know when to exactly recharge the pages in order to continue my processing seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplest cloud app for data extraction & OCR solution"
What do you like best about Docparser?

The best part about docparser is that it is completely cloud based and requires zero footprint from installation perspective which saves the hardware and hosting costs.

Multiple options provided to import the source documents for parsing and export the extracted csv/xlsx data enabling it for any third party integration in various formats supported.

Simplicity of docparser is unbeaten by all other competitors in the market.

Programming experience is not required and training on docparser is very simple and only a matter of couple of hours you will be able to build your document parsers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Docparser?

The only downside of docparser is the pricing model which definitely needs a improvisation. Auto-recharge on exhaustion of the purchased pages must be done and leftover pages must be roll forwarded to the next billing cycle.

Nested parsing rules make it complex for editing a parsing rule created by someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Docparser exceeds my requirements for simple OCR solution"
What do you like best about Docparser?

Has great features to fix issues in the documents before sending it to the OCR for extraction.

Ready to use templates available for many categories.

Easy setup mechanism for selecting particular areas using before-after and other techniques that are easy to understand and use.

Multiple ways for sending the data to Docparser and receiving the extracted output. This makes it a very useful tool as it can easily integrate with any application.

The world is moving towards cloud based solutions and this being completely cloud based makes it the best tool to go with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Docparser?

A slight change in any field in the source document can lead to complete change in the field setup in the parsing rules.

Parsing time increases with increases in the parsing rule.

Multiple parsing rules can be executed for different documents simultaneously but it shared the cloud bandwidth making all the parallel rules slower.

Pricing model and subscription due dates and pages left are difficult to maintain and handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely simple to use & low cost data extraction solution"
What do you like best about Docparser?

Extremely easy to understand and learn with the documentations provided.

Easy upload of documents and setup of key data elements for extraction.

Ready to use Templates are provided which can be used to extract all generic fields for the respective templates.

Options for skew/de-skew and other advanced options are available which is very rarely found in applications of such kind.

Talking about the USP of this product, it is completely cloud based and no installation of any application or software is required making it very easy to integrate with any kind of application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Docparser?

The pricing model for Docparser is very weird. The top-up done for xx number of pages will last for xx days. If there are any unused pages after xx days, the pages are not carry-forwarded. It is mandatory to top-up again immediately after expiry of previous package and no provision provided to auto-debit or auto-recharge. This makes it difficult to track and needs constant monitoring of the pages.

No options for custom coding is provided. The OCR behaves weird at times and extracts different results for the same file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Docparser is perfect for us"
What do you like best about Docparser?

The ability to send documents with different layouts, and for docParser to identify which layout is in use in order to parse accordingly. This helped greatly when a client changed the layout of their standard document without telling us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Docparser?

We had never used pdf parsing before and so there was a learning path - however we got all the help we needed. All support tickets were responded to in a timely manner. Often though we had already found the answer in the interim. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
