Top Rated Dock Alternatives
Dock has changed the follow up game. After every intro call, I will send over a Dock that has tons of content, a demo video, customer success info, etc. It makes it so easy to provide the customer will all information needed.
One single doc to find all of the content. I also loved using Dock for Mutual Action Plans and onboarding docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
nothing -- I have been using the tool everyday and will continue to do so Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clients and prospects love being able to navigate and use Dock to share internally. It's extremely quick to create a new workspace and customize with company branding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the last year, I've found 5+ confirmed bugs. It feels like I'm a part of their QA team. The response I receive is that this is low priority and there isn't much they can do. Features such as sections in workspaces break often, pricing cards don't load properly, Slack channel connections broken, etc., providing an untrustworthy experience. Often causing me to spend several hours to redo everything and update all the workspaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love getting to see the real-time analytics of what people are clicking on and viewing in the workspace. As a product-marketer I can see what content is resonating with people and find patterns in the engagement. I love how easy it was to get up and running, I didn't even need any training to start building out templates! Their customer support is always super responsive, usually responding within minutes. It integrates super well with Salesforce and our team loves that we can see all the dock updates in our dedicated slack channel! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Truly nothing, dock is so well designed and super easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the last week, I've had at least 4 potential customers I'm working with tell me how appreciative they are of the Dock Workspace I sent after our initial call.
Sharing a dock to help guide the sales process and give prospects tools to self-serve has been a gamechanger for our team.
We've built in ways to let highly motivated buyers to build out business cases with us inside of Dock. This has not only been a great signal for us when they do it, but it has undoubtedly helped me close more deals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say it's something I "dislike", but it takes some time to get yourself set up with templates and a workflow you're comfortable with. The Dock team is great at helping with this though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Logo copying from hubspot doesnt seem to happen but that could be user error on my part! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dock has been instrumental in powering our sales team with a means of collaborating with champions from active opportunities.
We're primarily using Dock to share sales collateral (videos, solution briefs, etc.), PoC documentation, and to align with our buyers on mutual action plans. This gives our buyers a positive experience with one centralized location to access all important information related to our product, and most importantly, provies our team with strong indicators into a buyer's level of engagement outside of our direct interactions with them. We can see every time a buyer accesses our workspace and what they click on. We've identified a clear correlation between Dock engagement and likelihood to buy, helping to improve our forcasts and deal plans.
The Dock team is also a pleasure to work with - from the initial sales interactions to customer support. I would absolutely recommend this tool to anyone in a sales position! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the formatting of setting up a section within a workspace can be a slight challenge, but the product team is developing quickly and very responsive to feedback. The tool is so easy to use there's really not much to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've tried ALL of the project management applications out there. While some offered a really nice experience on MY end, none of them offered an equally good experience on the client end.
Dock is fantastic for my clients. And the reason I can say that confidently is because they all actually USE it!
My favorite things about Dock:
- It's completely customizable, allowing me to set up the perfect experience for any type of client or project
- It's not overly complex. I want to spend my time doing the work, not organizing it
- It's the perfect balance of everything I need, without a bunch of stuff to drive me crazy (like requiring a large amount of input for every step of a project, or requiring a bunch of clicks to view something)
- The learning curve is almost zero. I provide an overview video for my clients. Most don't watch it and have no issues using Dock.
- It's reliable. I seem to find bugs in EVERY applications - even very popular apps that millions of people use - but Dock has never let me down. It's not buggy. And it's extremely reliable.
- I love how easy it is to set up and share projects - I'm up and running a new project in minutes.
- Customer support is WAY above and beyond what I would expect from a company like this. I've never had a concern go unaddressed.
- They have continuously improved since I started using them - only getting better over time!
I can't even begin to count the hours Dock has saved me. I love having all of my client project materials in one place - easy to access - and easy for the client to access.
I would NOT want to go back in time and run my projects without Dock! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a lower-cost entry level option for us soloprenuers. I'd love more than 5 projects, but I also don't need agency-level unlimited projects either. For now I'm making due with the free version, but would be happy to pay monthly at a more affordable rate for 10 or 15 boards! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dock offers all the functionality we need to give our prospects and customers a superb and professional experience. Instead of sending individual documents across various emails, or sharing a Google Drive folder, we can organize and share all the information our customers need.
Additionally, we can actually monitor and prove out whether a prospect or customer has engaged with our content or accessed our shared workspace.
The slack integration makes it easy for us to know when someone is taking action on a shared workspace, in real-time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dock is nearly a perfect product. The only thing I'm eagerly awaiting is mobile-friendly access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
By consolidating all our sales materials, collateral, and proposals in one place, Dock has empowered our team to take full ownership of driving deals. The intuitive centralized workspace is far easier to manage than disjointed email threads.
This user-friendly system not only wins points for ease-of-use but also differentiation. By providing clarity and continuity to our prospects, we are able to accelerate deals and provide a more professional customer experience.
Dock has been a game-changer in keeping our sales organized, productive, and collaberative. I highly recommend their solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dock is pioneering the client microsite/deal room space, building capabilities as this market emerges. While some desired features are still in development, their openness to user feedback and transparent roadmap instills confidence they will continue rapidly improving. I see strong long-term potential for their platform as adoption grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Dock as an client onboarding/ implementation support tool. This platform has allowed us one spot to track tasks, due dates, and provide resource materials to clients. Clients also love the tool and have repeatedly told us how they appreciate the organization and presentation of our onboarding tasks and materials. The support team has been incredibly responsive and helpful as well. We use this platform as part of our daily tasks. Great platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much we don't like about dock. In the future, I would love to customize what emails we receive as the project owners. I have communicated that with the support team and they let me know they would consider that feedback for future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Dock as a tool to drive and support our implementation process which typically lasts four to eight weeks. We found that clients were not as engaged as we needed them to be and sharing PPTs and an Outlook calendar wasn't cutting it. Dock instantly improved this process and client engagement. We now have one place to funnel all materials, dates and "hey, we told you this" information all in one place. It didn't take long to get our first templates ready and we were off and running. Great product. Easy to use and set up. Great support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything I dislike about Dock. I would like to see more reporting tools. In my conversation with their support team via chat, they've let me know this is a product enhancement they're working on. Dock works great for our needs, so not much to complain about.
