**What do you like best about Descartes Transportation Management?**

Like the ease of optimizing and scheduling for dock access and tracking trailer movement in yard and dock places.

**What do you dislike about Descartes Transportation Management?**

The one thing that is always complicated is the dock access and efficiently operating the dock for all vehicles and managing who can access when and this is a bit difficult.

**What problems is Descartes Transportation Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps in preplanning the movement of trailers.  It's helping in efficiently managing the workforce by automating the opening and closing of docks.  This has saved a lot of time and manpower.

Dock Scheduling & Yard Management allows shippers, carriers, brokers and consignees to work collaboratively, offering visibility into a facility's schedules, resulting in an organized and practical experience.

**What do you dislike about Descartes Transportation Management?**

The only downside I could find with Descartes Dock Scheduling & Yard Management would be the pricing, especially those that could benefit smaller businesses or those just starting.

Scheduling appointments now can be an easy and organized process with accurate information about facility hours, inventory, planning and precise tracking; it helps avoid any overbooking situation or misinformation.
