The flexibility to provide users unique experiences based on various options has been vital to our success. **What do you dislike about Docebo?** While Docebo provides quite a bit of flexibility, with our federated model, the system isn't flexible enough in some areas. But that being said, changes/updates are being done regularly to get us toward the system setup we would prefer. **What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to educate our federation has always been at the heart of what a system needed to do. Our previous system would allow for this, but it was technically a challenge for our administration team and the admins at our Member Organisations (MOs). Some of our MOs couldn't even leverage our older system for their unique needs because it was so technically difficult. Moving to Docebo has made it much easier for us and our MO admins to manage the user experience, and with that, we have increased the usage of our system, and users are happy...that is key - the user is happy and they return to the system now vs. abandoning it like before. ### 3. Wwatching videos in the Docebo University training tool works to a degree, but being able to to speak to someone and get live advice has been incredibly helpful. **What do you dislike about Docebo?** Calendar invitations are not automatically generated for an individual when they enroll onto a particular session. Docebo allows us to leverage the Power User functionality to enable our federation to control their users and courses while collaborating with our main office (me). Both in the management during the introduction as well as in the operative business. The Docebo platform is basically stable and without major interruptions, even with updates or changes to the platform. Basically, we use Docebo in addition to our Microsoft Office 365 environment to provide learning content for our students. We have synchronized the user accounts with the Microsoft Azure Active Directory via the configuration of Single Sign On. A major advantage of Docebo is the ability to conduct large tests over several hours with a large number of participants. The administration of the users and the assignment of the content to be published is easy. The learning content can also be easily uploaded and made available in different formats. Using externally generated SCORM packages is also very easy in Docebo. **What do you dislike about Docebo?** Access to the master data or test results stored in Docebo could be made easier for the creation of evaluations using external tools. They also have a really good feedback system and ideas management platform, which again points to their exceptional customer service and willingness to always improve and learn about their customers' needs. It's also useful being able to automatically generate certificates on course completion, and build out catalogues of courses to group them together. Many out of the box features are also useful - course completion %ge, customisable power users etc. **What do you dislike about Docebo?** The trend of Docebo splitting out some of their features that incur a further cost isn't ideal - while I understand this with some products (e.g. Shape or Flow), it feels like Learning Impact and Learn Data perhaps should be part of the main product. Some features have also not been particularly helpful for our use-case, the recent auto-tagging feature for example, which for a period of time was non-optional, and now has required us to go back and remove these tags manually now the option to turn it off exists. **What problems is Docebo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Docebo provides us with an out-of-the-box solution where we can create online courses, and arrange webinars, for providing training to our users. This was particularly useful in the pandemic, but we were also wanting to provide more online training directly aside from this. In terms of learning admin experience: There is a noticeable skill and knowledge gap among L&D professionals when it comes to utilising the platform's functionality. E.g., a lack of programming knowledge and limited resources from IT departments makes it more difficult to effectively maintain the system. In terms of learners: Docebo should be more learner-centred. I've noticed that there are very simple features missing from the platform, that should exist. For example, it would greatly enhance the user experience to have filtering capabilities within the platform, particularly when utilising the content marketplace. Learners should be able to filter courses by topic, level, provider, etc. A stronger focus on accessibility is needed, such as providing options for dark/light mode throughout the platform.
