Sometimes DNSFilter crashes on Android, even when I’m trying to use regular DNS sessions, because it ends up being shown as not active. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DNSFilter?

What do you dislike about DNSFilter?

not all sites are categorized correctly. For example gambling and you can still get to sites like fanduel and draft kings. i wouldn't feel comfortable trying to prove that sites that should be blocked are blocked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've passed your feedback around categorization to our product team. Draft Kings and Fan Duel are both categorized as Gambling in our system; would love to understand the issue you ran into more. Please submit a support ticket if you are still experiencing an issue. You can also report miscategorizations if you run into them through the Domain Report tool in the DNSFilter application. "Overly Aggressive Blocking Makes Critical Websites Unusable"

What do you like best about DNSFilter?

What do you dislike about DNSFilter?

It has a terrible blocking list; it blocks sites that should not be blocked URLs used and required for websites at Microsoft Azure to work on a continuing basis. It will blocks CSS and JavaScript includes, and sometimes it blocks AJAX calls, making it impossible to use the website.

It will block updates downloads for software that is well-known and from major software vendors.

It is so bad I have had to disable it so I can work with the issue.

We have a rule now, "if something doesn't work and it uses the internet, then kill DNSFilter and then see if it works." ; 99% of the time it does

After a support ticket, I can tell they don't understand the basics of how DNS lookups works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DNSFilter?

I appreciate DNSFilter for allowing us to filter DNS for security measures effectively and develop policies for the organization. I find the categorization of different sites and application of policies to groups intuitive and efficient, with all features being particularly useful. What do you like best about DNSFilter?

DNSFilter was extremely straightforward to install and set up for our environment. We used group policy to deploy the client agent, and after a quick restart, the agents began reporting to the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only complaint is that I can't remain logged into the web console. I would really appreciate the option to stay signed in for a week, or even up to 30 days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DNSFilter?

The ability to have a simple but effective control over the network. Integration was pretty straight forward not many issues other than things being blocked we didn't want but that was to be expected, Customer support is very helpful if you have issues moving forward.
