Distcc A Robust software complier with Agility and Speed **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Rakesh S. | Digital Evanglist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2022 **What do you like best about Distcc?** Distcc easy software compiler tool that has been a great help in a software development cycle since we have been working on a developing a software platform and we've been testing but we were looking for a tool that was robust in nature for compiling the software and running the software and Distcc has provided the such type of an opportunity where we can increase our productivity and developer software in a less span of time so it usually in we work in agile methodology so the development and testing part of units where going parallelly so DDS has been a great compiler in testing reiterating and running the program for multiple times with less consumption of her power and increasing the productivity that has been lacking and delivering a client and time and meeting the deadlines of a project so as compiler **What do you dislike about Distcc?** Distcc has a great features hand that can be used on a multiple fat forms to develop a multiple softwares at a same time can be shared across the platforms however it comes with some poor futures while implementing a tool in a software development cycle and also the testing especially the UI UI part of the tool is very good in nature it has to improve a lot and in case if you want to get kind of reports or the mapping of the tool and the consumption of a tool space in a server there is a lack of reporting in attachments the dashboard has to be improved for this and plug and play feature of the tool has to be extended and improved a lot to support a various web browsers as of now it is only supporting a few web browsers that has to be improved in a great extent and integration and API's of the tool is not great we are getting bugs and the system is getting crashed when we are trying to implement such step for bugs and when we are trying to implement so step off APIs and integration is not working fine so integration has to be improved so that we can integrate the same tool in a various domains and across the platforms **What problems is Distcc solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the software development cycle, we need a fast compiler to develop and test the solution when we are going for the agile method. The Distcc tool has been a great help for us as a developer to create and compile the program insert a short span of time and increase productivity since there have been many changes that client has requested while developing the software and the compiler tool has helped us in such a great way that we were able to integrate the solution and provide what kind of uh features that met client requirement and apart from that it was easy to use.
