What do you dislike about Disruptive Advertising? Within 3 weeks of working with this agency our revenue was down 20%, all of our KPIs like Add to Cart, Puchases, Time on site were dropping off the map as far as 50% or more. They were advertising international with no segmenting on Facebook and driving tons of traffic from India that was wasting our spend and hurting our business. We are an American brand and gave them all our demographic info and specifically told them to target in the USA only. They then recycled ads from 3 years ago that were offering free products and promotions we were not currently using. The manager had not even read the ads he was running. They never checked our revenue in Shopify. On top of all of this - when we signed on they said our Google Channel had room for expanding as it was performing very well. After the 3 weeks - they had taken our average cost per conversion from $7 to $90!!! The worst performance we had ever seen in 5 years of running google ads. When we brought this up to their management and requested a new team to handle our account - they told us they did not have any teams available, that they were at capacity. They strung us along to bill us for another month and told us they would find us another team. They never did. After having the worst sales we've ever had in the past year (including covid) we fired them. They refused to give us a refund and made the process even harder by insisting we get on calls. We wanted to move forward quickly with new management and focus on fixing the damage they had caused. They showed little interest in doing the right thing and eventually stopped responding to our emails. The team at Disruptive is only interested in more clients and income - not results. They will not take care of your account or business or do the right thing when they mess up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. They showed a completely lack of competence and diligence in handling our account and admitted that they were over capacity when we asked for a new team. We came to them to free up our time and have a team that manages the overall return of our paid advertising efforts to help us scale. We saw exactly the opposite of benefits. On the CRO slide, Jamison has helped us reach a place in our web content and service descriptions that we've been striving to reach for years. His input is so valuable. They create landing pages, implement strong call to actions, and are involved with continuously improving our advertising campaigns to ensure that we are able to maximize our budget and increase conversions. A differentiator of Disruptive is having a representative that has been with our account nearly the entire time of engagement. In addition, having weekly check-in calls keeps everyone involved in the process to ensure that campaigns, ads, and other factors that are important are optimized. Further, their leadership checks in and there is an obvious high benchmark that they set for themselves in a vary competitive and quite frankly oversaturated industry. There could be times when their additional services that are included (i.e. landing page creation) are a bit more advanced on first draft. It would be great also if there were more clearly stated inclusions in the agreements (i.e. we will create one landing page per quarter). This has gotten better after some discussion, but it may be something worth putting into an agreement so that all sides remain accountable to what is required. Disruptive has done a great job of making sure that tasks are done correctly, so I give credit there for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Disruptive Advertising: It is important to understand the fees of all PPC providers before signing up. Many of them are not clear. Disruptive is very clear in their fee structure and you may find yourself spending less and getting more from them than other providers. Also consider longevity of the team. Are people coming and going from a company? With Disruptive, they seem to have a lot of mid-long term team members, which makes it easier to maintain a long term relationship with them. We are finding leads that we would otherwise not be able to gather through a competitive organic content process. Where we are not able to rank in the top 50 or top 100, Disruptive has been able to create campaigns that are engaging, click-worthy, and converting for us so that we are able to realize strong value from their services.
