Disruptive has been helping my organization with Google Ads for a variety of campaigns and with diverse and ever-changing budgets. They create landing pages, implement strong call to actions, and are involved with continuously improving our advertising campaigns to ensure that we are able to maximize our budget and increase conversions. What do you like best?

A differentiator of Disruptive is having a representative that has been with our account nearly the entire time of engagement. In addition, having weekly check-in calls keeps everyone involved in the process to ensure that campaigns, ads, and other factors that are important are optimized. Further, their leadership checks in and there is an obvious high benchmark that they set for themselves in a vary competitive and quite frankly oversaturated industry. What do you dislike?

There could be times when their additional services that are included (i.e. landing page creation) are a bit more advanced on first draft. It would be great also if there were more clearly stated inclusions in the agreements (i.e. we will create one landing page per quarter). This has gotten better after some discussion, but it may be something worth putting into an agreement so that all sides remain accountable to what is required. Disruptive has done a great job of making sure that tasks are done correctly, so I give credit there for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

It is important to understand the fees of all PPC providers before signing up. Many of them are not clear. Disruptive is very clear in their fee structure and you may find yourself spending less and getting more from them than other providers. Also consider longevity of the team. Are people coming and going from a company? With Disruptive, they seem to have a lot of mid-long term team members, which makes it easier to maintain a long term relationship with them. We are finding leads that we would otherwise not be able to gather through a competitive organic content process. Where we are not able to rank in the top 50 or top 100, Disruptive has been able to create campaigns that are engaging, click-worthy, and converting for us so that we are able to realize strong value from their services. We are a saas company with a relatively small budget. We were looking to find ways to effectively scale our budget and get the most bang for our buck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We were paying a very steep agency fee. The fee alone was 50% of our ad spend. For that price, I would expect hours every week being spent in our account. Month after month, I looked at the change history in the account and there would be one or two changes made. Every month the only changes made were one or two negative keywords added. There was next to no proactivity in strategic recommendations. Everything that got done in the account was from me proactively reaching out after doing full audits myself. We hired them to manage our Google Shopping campaigns during our first year in business. Because our account was small, they assigned an inexperienced account manager to us. He didn't touch anything and for weeks we kept pushing for actual changes made to the campaigns. After 3 months of money down the toilet, we ended our contract, took the campaign management back and taught ourselves how to manage our ads. We should have demanded a refund.... live and learn. Chelsea Taele assisted in creating an online presence for the Utah Trafficking in Persons Task Force as well as assisting the Trafficking in Persons Program with Mission, Vision and rebranding of our agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Excellent listening skills, collaboration and immediate action taken on our behalf.

We sat and educated Chelsea and Brad about human trafficking with extensive detail in terms of red flags, vulnerabilities, the force, fraud and coercion involved as well as the various types of trafficking.

They took all of the information we shared with them and operationalized it into an online platform on Facebook as well as some of the stories we told which helped the public catch the vision of what trafficking really is.

I have worked with DA two instances. First, a possible partnership between them & my company (coming on board as a client). We sat down and had a discovery conversation. After learning more about who we are, what we do, our targeted buying audience, our DA rep consulted with his team and after a few days actually came back to us and recommended that DA was probably not a fit for our desired buyers, worth suggestions for the kind of marketing that was. We found this refreshing & honest. They could have easily suggested a given package engagement, knowing it most like would not have yielded results in order to score a new logo, but they didn’t. We appreciated the integrity and direction.

Second, in the course of our discussions, I learned that DA cares deeply about the community in which they are located. After sharing details about a local giving circle I am a part of which supports local charities, we continued this conversation and DA has become a tremendous support and partner. They have opened their doors & hearts to support amazing local charities and members of our local community by hosting our quarterly chapter meetings, donating digital advertising services to create interest and awareness & donating regularly to our nominated charities. What do you like best?

DA is a caring, transparent, bold & agile company and a true partner. They seek to understand the needs of their customers, and are bold to recommend solutions that will drive results (even if its not their own services!). What do you like best?

Alex has been great to work with, he has excellent communication skills, incredibly competent in his trade, and follows through on everything! His service in the first couple weeks of working with your company was the primary reason we wanted to increase our ad spend and partnership with Disruptive so quickly (way ahead of the timeline we originally planned for). We also wanted to say thank you to everyone else working behind the scenes helping out!
