I like that Dispatch Science lets us run our entire courier operation effectively, especially with its auto dispatch for assignment and optimization, which is crucial for our on-demand medical logistics. The depth of configuration is fantastic; it feels like it's made by people who understand our operations, allowing us to model our real-world business in the system instead of adapting to the software. The speed of onboarding our couriers, customers, and billing accuracy is impressive. When we secure new work, we can build rate schedules and service levels ourselves in hours instead of days, which is essential for our rural and sprawling territory. Having dispatch rules, driver requirements, and pricing all within the same software ensures that orders are booked correctly and billed correctly without reconciling different systems. The driver app is intuitive, making driver adoption easy since it requires only days for training. The implementation support from Dispatch Science with an assigned consultant and regular calls was structured and very supportive, which made our transition smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Dispatch Science? The complexity of Dispatch Science can be a bit overwhelming. There's a real learning curve, and new dispatchers need solid training time to get comfortable with the system. Making admin changes requires a good understanding of the ripple effects, especially when it comes to pricing or dispatch rules. The built-in reporting covers the basics, but we often find ourselves exporting data for deeper analysis. More robust report building and modifications within the environment would be great. The handling of static routes for our medical courier runs isn't ideal; the system treats each stop as individual, rather than allowing us to build them into a single static route. We have workarounds, but it's not as clean as what our previous system offered. From my experience there isn't really much that I could say I dislike, I would also reach as far to say that there are not many, if any disadvantages to this software. I used dispatching Science at one of the companies I worked before for dispatching technicians. It was a good option at the time, but not the perfect one.
