"Won't refund price, if product doesn't work"

What do you like best about Disk Drill?

What it offers sounds good if it works, which it probably does in some situations but didn't for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Disk Drill?

When it didn't work for me and I asked for a refund within an hour of purchasing it, they refused the refund. They said I should have been aware it wouldn't work before I purchased it because they warn you to make sure you see the file in the preview pane. I saw an image in the preview pane so thought I was good but I guess I was supposed to see something else. I explained that we were a small nonprofit that could ill afford to pay for something that didn't work for us but to no avail. It seems that once you pay them, there's no way they'll issue a refund. What do you like best about Disk Drill?

Disk Drill is a special data recovery tool and it completely recovers all the missed files I need and the free trial is available to check how it works with your system so you can easily learn it’s working. It recovers almost 90% of missing data and I can easily recover my data from any place and from any system. Its customer support service is very helpful and gives us a quick response to the issues are we faced during working with this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Disk Drill?

It still does not work for many users they say that no data was recovered when they used it and it slows down my phone or computer on which I use it another issue I found is that it doesn't notify me about file volume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Disk Drill solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used it personally for my family photos and data which were being shown unsupported or missing everywhere I tried to open those folders. So I was worried and didn't find any better solution than this to recover my files and it completely recovered my files and folders and now I can anytime open it, see it, share it or whatever I want to do with it. What do you like best about Disk Drill?

Besides all the great disk utility functions, Disk Drill has already saved me from many, MANY problems with its amazing recovery function! What do you like best about Disk Drill?

Disk Drill is the best software for recovering lost and deleted files. You can easily make up backups using Disk Drill for future recovery if you run into some issue with your computer that requires you to reinstall the OS to fix it. What do you dislike about Disk Drill?

Although you can use Disk Drill for free, you're limited to 500MB of files for recovery. For more size, you have to upgrade to Disk Drill Pro and it is a little costly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Disk Drill for several years to make backups of important files that I will need in case I run into some major problem such as my computer crashing, hard drive failure, or accidental deletion. What do you like best about Disk Drill?

DiskDrill, when installed on your system, keeps an updated file on your hard drive's directory and structure. This means that if your drive has issues you don't have to rely on the drive's possibly corrupted directory files to restore your data. The pro license allows up to three systems and is a good value. DiskDrill solves the problem of having to do a long scan on your hard disk to recover data that may have been erased or unacceptable due to directory issues. It also protects all disks that are hooked up to the system.

It can also be used with drives that haven't weren't on your system where you need to recover files and data. It has several types of scans one of which is a directory scan, the other more involved scan is a sector by sector scan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Disk Drill has an intuitive user interface and it is quite easy to use. It's an excellent software for recovering lost files that one cannot locate or are deleted. This has helped me in a couple of instances where a major error caused my computer to display a blue screen and restart repeatedly. "Recovered Video Card Footage - $15K loss avoided!"

What do you like best about Disk Drill?

Ease of Use, and compatibility for a wide array of file formats. The Software ran extremely fast and was able to recover the footage lost before our production team needed to access it. The software required little to no setup time, and can be done by any user and does not require IT administration help. It is also friendly in size, so it does not take up large amounts of space when installed on user machines! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Disk Drill?

It's hard because Cinema Camera file structures are not a common recovery item, but the Software had trouble interpreting ALL of the data on the card. It did recover 95% of the footage, and we had some work to do in Post Production to re-color the footage since the Color information files were not recovered. (proprietary Camera File Extension), other than that Disk Drill absolutely saved our project! In comparison to other alternatives, Disk Drill offered the best price for the recovery service it offered but nothing targets the Cinema Camera market that isnt $$$$$$$$. We had a card that was accidentally formatted. That card contained camera footage from a major production with about $15,000 worth of crew & rented gear for the day.
