## DISCO Platform Reviews
  ### 1. Intuitive, Powerful, Efficient Discovery Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S.

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

The powerful features to set up and narrow the scope of reviews by groups and user types. I was able to create workflows that sped up the review process for my team. It took a little bit of work to figure it out, but the help pages were very thorough. The billing on a per gigabyte basis is also helpful because we can have team reviewers both internal and external (with the client, for example) without increasing the cost of access to the platform. The auto-tagging leaves a little to be desired, but it is largely based upon the quantity and quality of review.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

It can be a bit overwhelming, at first. The initial pages are essentially the primary item or document list. Once you understand how to sort and filter this list, massive amounts of data become far more manageable.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The efficiency of review of major discovery and productions, both inbound and outbound. We are able, with a small team, to digest and review huge amounts of data produced to us or provided by our clients for the purpose of producing to a third party. While I think it might be a bit aggressive as to the initial price point (the minimum database fee is a little high), we have found that the expedience with which we can process the data off-sets this expense.

  ### 2. Easy, Efficient, and Intuitive Review Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

DISCO is extremely user-friendly and has made our document review and production process far more efficient. We don’t need much technical support to manage the platform, which helps us turn productions around faster while staying in control of our own timelines. The AI features are also excellent and further streamline the review process. Overall, DISCO is intuitive, efficient, and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

The user interface could be more streamlined, especially when it comes to searching, sorting, and applying filters. Making those functions simpler and more intuitive would help the platform feel easier and more efficient to use. Case Builder could also be more robust; compared with Westlaw CaseMap, it provides fewer tools and less flexibility for organizing facts, issues, and other key case information.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DISCO helps solve the inefficiencies and delays that often come with document review and production. Because the platform is intuitive and does not require significant technical support, our team can manage reviews, searches, and productions directly and on our own timeline. This allows us to move productions out faster, reduce reliance on outside support, and maintain greater control over the process. Its AI features also help streamline review and identify relevant documents more efficiently.

  ### 3. Doocument Review for Everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

How simple it is to use. The UI is not overly complicated and it felt like anyone could jump in the review project without it looking daunting. There are sophisticated features available but they are all in the user face all the time which makes the majority of the work proceed faster compared to other products available on the market.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

some of the search building features have been inconsistent. As an example, copying and pasting a long string of document ID numbers into the search bar or in the search builder has not always resulted in all of those documents being fetched. If the documents sought were enough to cover multiple lines of text, some of the lower lines would get lost.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For mid size review projects that don't need extremely sophisticated capabilities, DISCO gave us an instrument that required less onboarding training and produced faster results than other products on the market we had used in the past.

  ### 4. Great User Experience, But Premium Pricing Should Include Better Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

DISCO has one of the most user-friendly interfaces of any eDiscovery platform I've used. Compared to other platforms, it's intuitive, easy to navigate, and doesn't require a steep learning curve. Labeling, tagging, and organizing documents are simple, which makes document review much more efficient.

Another strength is its ability to ingest a wide variety of file types. Most of the data sets I've worked with have been uploaded without issue. The onboarding process was also excellent. Their customer success team did a great job getting us up and running, and the initial support experience was responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Where DISCO falls short is when an ingest doesn't go as planned. If files are corrupted or come from another source with an unsupported format, you're often required to contact support instead of being given the tools or training to resolve the issue yourself.

The frustrating part is that support will frequently attempt the ingest, only to determine that the issue requires review by a "specialty team" at an additional cost. Given the already premium pricing for the platform and data hosting, it's difficult to justify paying extra just to get documents into the system. In my view, ingest support for problematic files should be included as part of the service rather than treated as an additional revenue stream.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DISCO helps centralize large volumes of electronically stored information into a single, searchable platform, making document review, organization, and production significantly more efficient than managing files manually. Features like tagging, labeling, powerful search tools, and an intuitive interface reduce the time spent locating key documents and help streamline the discovery process. Although I've had issues with a particular ingest, the platform generally provides an efficient workflow for managing complex litigation matters and allows legal teams to collaborate more effectively throughout the discovery process.

  ### 5. Reliable, adaptable product for ever changing legal field

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

The Disco platform is incredibly easy to use for new reviewers and is adaptable whereas the various features can come in handy for a more experienced user. Often review platforms are either too limited or too complex. Disco over last 10+ years has proven to be intuitive, accommodating and adaptable to new cases.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

There are still issues with deduping/dethreading, where it cannot be relied on. I was there was easier options for production sorting and editing of fields.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disco platform provides me the ability to quickly analyze metadata which is often more important to me than the actual documents.

  ### 6. User-Friendly Platform That Keeps Multi-Staff Reviews on Track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

Disco Platform is user friendly where features can be easily found. On the other hand, it also works well when the project involves different staff and can track the status of review effectively.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Disco overall is pretty nice, except that some of the files might require overlay or a long time for the documents to be ingested before kicking off the project.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disco mainly resolves the problem of document review and helps avoid a lot of manual labor and increase the efficiency of the project.

  ### 7. Efficient File Management, Easy Once Trained

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** EMILY W. | Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I find the DISCO Platform helpful for organizing and filing files from attorneys who leave our firm. It provides a quick way to set up files and move information over, making it easy to find files and emails under attorneys' names, which helps us keep better records. Once I got the proper training, I found it easy and efficient to use. There's lots of DISCO training available, making the platform even easier to use. My team seems to love DISCO as well.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Nothing

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use DISCO Platform to organize and file attorneys' documents, finding files and emails easily, which improves record-keeping.

  ### 8. CS DISCO - EASY TO USE AND QUICK TO UNDERSTAND

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tammy F. | Paralegal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

CS Disco is so easy to use; from the front end to the back end never had any issues doing what needed to be done.

The support at Disco is like no other. They are very helpful from an email, chat or a phone call. Always able to troubleshoot and provide solutions.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

There is nothing I don't like about CS Disco.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quicker Document Review; management of large pools of documents involving multiple parties.

**Official Response from Keith Schrodt:**

> Hi Tammy,

Thank you for this great review! You rock! We are excited to hear that you have never had any issues with DISCO. We have built a world-class team here that prides itself on delivering a platform that enables clients to ‘do what needs to be done.’

It’s wonderful reading that the speed of DISCO is having a positive impact on your work. Every second counts when you have thousands (and even millions) of documents to review, right?

Thank you again Tammy! Please keep the feedback coming - we want to continue to improve and appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we are doing.

Gratefully, your DISCO team

  ### 9. User-friendly, intuitive review platform. Easy to learn on your own.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

I still consider DISCO to be one of the easiest review platforms to use as a reviewer or admin. I love the visual tools that allow you to "see" your production based on custodians and date ranges. I use this feature frequently when on the platform.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Perhaps they could add a cluster feature, similar to Everlaw, which allows you to see common words or phrases.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disco seems to cater their services and product to small law firms. It makes ediscovery accessible to all types of users, including those that do not have an ediscovery department or liaison.

  ### 10. Good combination of eDiscovery and Case Builder for Witness Prep

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about DISCO Platform?**

High Speed Dataloader reduces the time to ingest and process large files.

**What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?**

Inability to directly ingest text messages, either as RSMFs or emls. Left panel doesn't provide enough customization, so users are having to navigate through 8 different "tasks" to find their documents.

**What problems is DISCO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is my understanding that DISCO will soon provide Administrators the ability to ingest RSMFs
