"Intuitive, Powerful, Efficient Discovery Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

The powerful features to set up and narrow the scope of reviews by groups and user types. I was able to create workflows that sped up the review process for my team. It took a little bit of work to figure it out, but the help pages were very thorough. The billing on a per gigabyte basis is also helpful because we can have team reviewers both internal and external (with the client, for example) without increasing the cost of access to the platform. The auto-tagging leaves a little to be desired, but it is largely based upon the quantity and quality of review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

It can be a bit overwhelming, at first. The initial pages are essentially the primary item or document list. Once you understand how to sort and filter this list, massive amounts of data become far more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clients can easily get up to speed in Disco"
4/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

Clients like Disco because it gives them an accessible, easy-to-use platform for internal reviews, without the extra complexity that comes with some other platforms. It provides built in tools and features to allow users to easily find the documentation and reference material they need to perform various tasks, which provides easy on-the-job training for users, such that novice users can quickly gain confidence using Disco without a lot of extra time spent training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

Disco sometimes runs into technical glitches at a higher rate than other platforms, such that it result in quality issues as a user may not know why no results are being returned for ever query they are running, or that overall searches are not working properly. These types of issues can generally be resolved by logging out and back in, but this requires recognizing that there is a problem (which may not always be the case) and overall results in a loss of time and efficiency. When it comes to more complex processes or conducting larger scale reviews, Disco can present some challenges that make it less efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Efficient, and Intuitive Review Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

DISCO is extremely user-friendly and has made our document review and production process far more efficient. We don’t need much technical support to manage the platform, which helps us turn productions around faster while staying in control of our own timelines. The AI features are also excellent and further streamline the review process. Overall, DISCO is intuitive, efficient, and easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

The user interface could be more streamlined, especially when it comes to searching, sorting, and applying filters. Making those functions simpler and more intuitive would help the platform feel easier and more efficient to use. Case Builder could also be more robust; compared with Westlaw CaseMap, it provides fewer tools and less flexibility for organizing facts, issues, and other key case information. "Doocument Review for Everyone"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

How simple it is to use. The UI is not overly complicated and it felt like anyone could jump in the review project without it looking daunting. There are sophisticated features available but they are all in the user face all the time which makes the majority of the work proceed faster compared to other products available on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

some of the search building features have been inconsistent. As an example, copying and pasting a long string of document ID numbers into the search bar or in the search builder has not always resulted in all of those documents being fetched. If the documents sought were enough to cover multiple lines of text, some of the lower lines would get lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great User Experience, But Premium Pricing Should Include Better Support"
4/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

DISCO has one of the most user-friendly interfaces of any eDiscovery platform I've used. Compared to other platforms, it's intuitive, easy to navigate, and doesn't require a steep learning curve. Labeling, tagging, and organizing documents are simple, which makes document review much more efficient.

Another strength is its ability to ingest a wide variety of file types. Most of the data sets I've worked with have been uploaded without issue. The onboarding process was also excellent. Their customer success team did a great job getting us up and running, and the initial support experience was responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

Where DISCO falls short is when an ingest doesn't go as planned. If files are corrupted or come from another source with an unsupported format, you're often required to contact support instead of being given the tools or training to resolve the issue yourself.

The frustrating part is that support will frequently attempt the ingest, only to determine that the issue requires review by a "specialty team" at an additional cost. Given the already premium pricing for the platform and data hosting, it's difficult to justify paying extra just to get documents into the system. In my view, ingest support for problematic files should be included as part of the service rather than treated as an additional revenue stream. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, adaptable product for ever changing legal field"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

The Disco platform is incredibly easy to use for new reviewers and is adaptable whereas the various features can come in handy for a more experienced user. Often review platforms are either too limited or too complex. Disco over last 10+ years has proven to be intuitive, accommodating and adaptable to new cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

There are still issues with deduping/dethreading, where it cannot be relied on. I was there was easier options for production sorting and editing of fields. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform That Keeps Multi-Staff Reviews on Track"
4/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

Disco Platform is user friendly where features can be easily found. On the other hand, it also works well when the project involves different staff and can track the status of review effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

Disco overall is pretty nice, except that some of the files might require overlay or a long time for the documents to be ingested before kicking off the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient File Management, Easy Once Trained"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

I find the DISCO Platform helpful for organizing and filing files from attorneys who leave our firm. It provides a quick way to set up files and move information over, making it easy to find files and emails under attorneys' names, which helps us keep better records. Once I got the proper training, I found it easy and efficient to use. There's lots of DISCO training available, making the platform even easier to use. My team seems to love DISCO as well. Response from Keith Schrodt of DISCO Platform

Hi Tammy,

Thank you for this great review! You rock! We are excited to hear that you have never had any issues with DISCO. We have built a world-class team here that prides itself on delivering a platform that enables clients to ‘do what needs to be done.’

It’s wonderful reading that the speed of DISCO is having a positive impact on your work. Every second counts when you have thousands (and even millions) of documents to review, right?

"User-friendly, intuitive review platform. Easy to learn on your own. "
4.5/5
What do you like best about DISCO Platform?

I still consider DISCO to be one of the easiest review platforms to use as a reviewer or admin. I love the visual tools that allow you to "see" your production based on custodians and date ranges. I use this feature frequently when on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DISCO Platform?

Perhaps they could add a cluster feature, similar to Everlaw, which allows you to see common words or phrases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
