The best part is how lightweight it is; even when we get sudden spikes in traffic, the server doesn't lag or freeze up. Also, the one-click SSL setup is a massive lifesaver because it takes care of site security automatically without us having to configure it manually every time. **What do you dislike about DirectAdmin?** It gets annoying jumping back and forth between the admin dashboard and individual user accounts when you are trying to fix a quick issue. It just feels like too many steps for simple updates. On top of that, the help articles are way too technical for beginners, so onboarding new people on our team takes a lot longer than it should. **What problems is DirectAdmin solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before this, we were overpaying for clunky control panels that were constantly eating up our server memory. We use this to offer affordable web hosting on a shared platform. With its support to CloudLinux and JetBackup DirectAdmin is ready to use in enterprise Shared Web Hosting environments similar to cPanel. **What do you dislike about DirectAdmin?** Not much, it has still some amature features and little costly, some open source panels can really beat DirectAdmin if someone don't want to pay in 2 digit per month . **What problems is DirectAdmin solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's best alternative we have to cPanel. cPanel has increased price too much to offer affordable solution, we use DirectAdmin as an alternative to cPanel and it's not the best but really good in terms of 'Get things done' basis. ### 4.
