It's an affordable and complete solution available for web hosting, it has all the required features and is a go-to choice for Web Hosting Providers. We use this to offer affordable web hosting on a shared platform. Not much, it has still some amature features and little costly, some open source panels can really beat DirectAdmin if someone don't want to pay in 2 digit per month . It's best alternative we have to cPanel. cPanel has increased price too much to offer affordable solution, we use DirectAdmin as an alternative to cPanel and it's not the best but really good in terms of 'Get things done' basis. Directadmin being a new product fetching market lacks enough resources to run the most useful commands, like running Python Django is very difficult in DirectAdmin as it lacks enough resources that explain that much. It is so clean and user-friendly even for people who are not from a SysAdmin background. People can still manage their hosting environment easily and yet it is very affordable. "Best cPanel Alternative with expert support team" 5/5 What do you like best about DirectAdmin? Everything, because it does everything well that a web hosting control panel should do. All the basic and advanced features are present, which helps hosting companies to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about DirectAdmin? There's not much to dislike. But there are few important things that it does not have, probably because lot of people has moved from cPanel, so some features such as CloudFlare Integration is not present in DirectAdmin, which makes lot of things to be done manually. Recommendations to others considering DirectAdmin: They have a perfect support team, which deserves to be supported. They are not greedy like cPanel, and they care about their customers. They are so annoying with price hikes every single year up to 700% which is crazy. No company would want to spend more on software than hardware. Surely it does not have much plugins or add ons as other control panels have, but considering they are much costly than what DA is, i would surely recommend you to go with DA.
