What do you like best about DipTrace?

As the title suggests, I like how intuitive the program is and there is a very fast learning curve. There’s no need to be googling solutions all day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DipTrace?

It may not be able to handle larger scale projects. I haven’t tested it yet but it seems to not have as many capabilities as programs like Orcad for complex designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DipTrace?

What do you dislike about DipTrace?

The icons of the tools look quite older than the software. For changing width or peculiar parameters of the trace ,we would need to to quite some operations which can then made possible with some popup icon ... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DipTrace?

Patterns (footprints) generation tool is the best I have tried to date. I have used Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad and OrCAD. DipTrace beats them all by a mile. Symbols generation tool is excellent too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DipTrace?

There is no automated option for generating gerber files, bill of materials, pick and place, 3D step, schematic pdf and so on. It takes about 15-20 minutes to generate nice file package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

100% user friendly.

Impossible to free-rotate text.

Bad import possibilities for PCB contour (only DXF and it is impossible to edit it).
