Good tool for Schematic entry, pcb design and Gerber generation **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Udit A. | Team Leader-PCB Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022 **What do you like best about DipTrace?** Whenever you plan to start a new product development, you need to create a symbol, footprint, draw the schematic, and then doing the pcb layout, all of these can be done with Dip trace! **What do you dislike about DipTrace?** The options for drawing, auto commands for wire draw and multiple connection draw together, GUI can be enhanced much and can be made user friendly so that a fresher can aslo do it easily. **Recommendations to others considering DipTrace:** If you are new to Electronics industry and want to do a start up with a simple and basic tool that can be used for drawing schematic, doing pcb layout, generating Gerber files and release, you can use this tool. **What problems is DipTrace solving and how is that benefiting you?** Drawing a block diagram, Schematic entry, pcb design, defining the rules, doing the design rules check, making symbol and footprints, exporting the files, generating Gerber etc. ### 2. Student friendly, Startup Friendly, Freshers friendly. **What problems is DipTrace solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to use diptrace when I was in university. It is good for those who are just starting PCB designing. It give some professional experience like gerber generation and 3d view of design. ### 3.
