What I like best about DigitalOcean is its very simple and smooth UI. Whatever I need, I can find immediately without searching too much or googling. Everything is well organized and easy to understand. Also, I really like that DigitalOcean shows all my resource usage and billing details in one place, which makes cost tracking very clear and transparent. One thing I dislike about DigitalOcean is that when I have too many processes running, like multiple servers and droplets, the dashboard can take slightly more time to load and respond. This becomes noticeable when managing server resources at once. Another drawback is the lack of detailed analytics for deployment. While basic metrics are available, more in-depth insight into CPU, memory, and bandwidth usage, especially at the application or deployment level, is missing. Additionally, some advanced features that are common in other cloud providers, such as deeper networking controls or managed enterprise-level service, are limited or require extra setup. I've been using Digital Ocean for about 7-8 years. I've recommended it many times. In terms of freedom, it's so far superior to my previous web hosting options (BlueHost, HostGator etc.). It's also brilliant in terms of monitoring (checking uptime for my droplets) and the UI/UX is generally very easy to use and navigate. Pricing is pretty straightforward and easy to understand.
