It takes a lot of work to get to this point but the burn up, burn down, velocity, and other charts are good tools for simplifying large amounts of information for higher ups. The speed of the web app is...uh, slow. It was very difficult to use especially on our moderate enterprise network. Very frustrating, to be honest. Additionally, the learning curve for getting up and running and productive is large with VersionOne. The price of the flexibility and configurability of this tool is the extensive learning curve. I like the task boards and story boards that I can filter to see the stories that I am looking for, such as seeing stories that are assigned to certain users during a specific iteration. From my experience, it doesn't allow for collaboration on stories with comments and such very well. For example, it would be nice if our tester could put a story from "done" to "in progress" with a comment saying the reason for the change (what is failing and how).
