e-Xstream engineering, an MSC Software Company (Part of Hexagon) is a software and engineering services company 100% focused on materials. e-Xstream develops Digimat, market leader state-of-the-art multi-scale modeling of complex multi-phase composites materials and structures (PMC, RMC, MMC, nanocomposites, hard metals, etc), and MaterialCenter, Data Lifecycle Management Software. Digimat addresses composite material suppliers' and end users' needs to design and manufacture innovative high-performances products while minimizing their weight, cost and time-to-market. MaterialCenter is used by industries dealing with large amount of data. Industries like aerospace and automotive are the biggest end-users, however energy, oil&gas and consumer electronics can also well benefit from the solution. MaterialCenter is used throughout the material development process to manage physical and virtual data and integrate it with other corporate tools. ​It manages the complete materials workflow as the single point of entry for all materials related activities.
