Have been using DIAdem 2012 and DIAdem 2010, in multiple versions running with Windows 7 / 10 creating and deleting channels multiple times (in a for loop) caused DIAdem to crash unexpectedly due to permission clashes.

According to me, there is no dislike as such over the software but in recommending it to my colleagues/friends I would suggest that there are very few companies who actually use this software in India and it would be a tough time to find a job having the experience in NI DIAdem software in India. I am saying this based on my experience. Till this time I am facing to secure a job over this expertise in India. Such a useful software from national instruments for finding and managing technical data, we can use it for mathematically and graphically analyzing the data. And also presenting the data for the reports.

What i like best was the UX, it was easy to use for a beginner in the data analyst, also it was well integrated with all kind of devices so that we would never worry about data sharing between devices. Also it was good to visualize the datas.

Diadem works with NI datafinder to index your data enabling powerful data mining tools. NI datafindrt works with several file formats, such as excel, csv, tdm, lvm, etc. If it lacks native support for your data file wr can try to download the plugin from NI DIAdem. I think the downside was the software is pretty much old in terms of UI. It needs to be redesigned for viewing some large amounts of data. I see the software is a bit left behind the other software in terms of big data analysis.

Also what im not sure about is wether diadem is able to monitor the data logs and analyze it at the same time in a real time because i wasn't able to try it yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a Development Engineer I was seamlessly able to work with large amounts of data recorded over days at times. DIAdem allowed me to import, analyse, extract, graph and view data very easily while also providing the option to do a comparison study with data recorded elsewhere. Working on DIAdem can be frustrating especially when you are beginner learning the ins and outs of how it works. The management of the work space is a key component on the software but is not very user friendly in terms of its customization. It takes practice and sometimes, making mistakes to understand how exactly this feature works which means you need to dedicate time and effort before you start using it for its primary purpose.
