What do you like best about DHTMLX UI?

It's flexible, it has many options and the most important thing for us is that all of those options are subject to custom code. Most of our projects require custom tailored solutions so this was our priority when choosing the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DHTMLX UI?

Too complicated at the beginning. May we approach it the wrong way but on other side is a product with a lot of features so it's understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering DHTMLX UI:

At the beginning there are way too many options that this gantt charts provide. A good approach is to start with a more simpler chart in order to easily understand the core functions and way things work. Then is very easy to add on additional features or even make the things your way, which is great as my clients are expecting custom tailored solution as per their needs. What problems is DHTMLX UI solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the Gantt charts for managing production process and supply chain in medium sized companies in Eastern Europe. The other solution we do with the Gantt charts is for trade companies to visualize their promotion periods for different product in different store chains. It may not look something as cool as the production management but actually it helps them a lot to plan their marketing activities and manage the supply of the goods.
