What do you like best about DHTMLX UI?
- Feature-completeness from day one — drag-and-drop, recurring events, multiple views, custom event rendering. All the things we'd otherwise have spent months building ourselves.
- Genuine customisability. We've been able to skin it, extend event templates, and integrate it tightly with our PHP/JS stack without fighting the framework.
- Performance with real-world data volumes. Consultants have busy diaries and the calendar stays responsive.

What do you dislike about DHTMLX UI?
Honestly, my gripes are fairly minor and mostly the flip side of working with a mature, comprehensive suite. Mobile and touch UX, particularly on the Scheduler, is at its best on desktop. What problems is DHTMLX UI solving and how is that benefiting you?
At its core, DHTMLX solves the build-vs-buy problem on UI components that are deceptively complex. We're a small team building a vertical SaaS for medical consultants in Ireland — every week we'd spend reinventing a scheduler or a data grid is a week we're not building the clinical workflow that actually differentiates our product. "Seamless Integration and Outstanding Support with DHTMLX Spreadsheet"

What do you like best about DHTMLX UI?
For our use case, we we're looking specifically at the Spreadsheet widget. But we can see how we could apply many of the other DHTMLX widgets on our software.
During the trial phrase, when we did a feasibility study on the use of the DHTMLX Spreadsheet, the team over there responded to all our queries. Both technical and from a sales perspective they were very helpful.
The tool itself is well written and well documented as well. We were particularly impressed with the completeness of the formulas that the Spreadsheet includes. It was easy to setup, in part due to the documentation provided.

Time and reliability are probably the biggest factors. The guys are DHTMLX have nailed the design of the product and the cost benefit calculation was pretty simple.

What do you like best about DHTMLX UI?
The DHTMLX Gantt component has all the features to be competitive with Microsoft Project! When we searched for a component to include in our SAAS product we concluded that this Gantt chart was the very best component available. It has the most features, the most flexible with best set of APIs so we could configure it for our specific requirements.
The documentation is excellent! We have never contacted support to explain any of the APIs or functions. We have contacted support a few times when we have specific behaviors we want beyond the API’s and within hours we have received snippets and instructions on how to accomplish our goals every time. There was nothing that couldn’t be done.

What do you dislike about DHTMLX UI?
This is a component, so you have to build code around it. We would like to be able to assign resources at the project level as well as the task level....but we understand this is in the pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DHTMLX UI?
On Kanban:
I have tested the trial version of the Kanban in our Angular app and I find it easy to implement and adapt to project needs. For the sake of fast implementation, I asked the support team a question about how should we customize the Kanban to fit our project needs and got back a detailed and quick response from their development team with explicit example and guidance.
On GANTT:
After testing several gantt options, I chose Dhtmlx Gantt because it fitted my needs perfectly. It's very versatile and easy to use. The documentation is well written and explicit. From the developer's perpective, the gantt is easily integrated and offers a lot of configuration options. After testing the the free version, I stepped to the pro version and the app users we're delighted about the posibility to resize the gantt's column.
