I don't run into many downsides with ActiveDisclosure. Perhaps having to define the Named Ranges within Excel for us in the AD tool, but this is not overly burdensome. I really appreciate how intuitive and easy to use DFIN ActiveDisclosure is. It's a good tool for drafting financial statements and makes updates easy when numbers change, unlike doing it in a Word document. The support is also notable, and it allows us to file financials ourselves. Overall, the new ActiveDisclosure is significantly better than the old version.
