Develop Diverse has really helped us shift how we think and write - not just in terms of gendered language (which we expected), but in being more inclusive across age, neurodiversity, ability, and more. It’s been a surprisingly effective way to bring the broader DEI conversation into something tangible and actionable.
The implementation process was super smooth and quick, mostly because the tool is quite simple to use in itself. It’s intuitive from the start, and the visual feedback makes it really easy to understand where and how you can improve.
It makes collaboration smoother. We could easily show the value to the more skeptical crowd - having hiring managers see the suggestions in real time made a big difference. The suggestions themselves are smart and make sense in the context of the whole sentence, which helps avoid that awkward “find and replace” feel.
While the tool helps promote our value of being kind, the fact that it’s kind of playful (you can aim for that perfect score!) made it easier for people to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We work in an industry with a lot of jargon and role-specific language that needs to stay in our job posts as it relates to our products. While we can whitelist certain terms, it would be a huge plus if the tool could learn to recognize context - like when a word should be flagged and when it’s just part of how we talk about the work. A bit more adaptability there would make a great tool even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
