It's simple to use most of the time, its easy to learn and get used to it. It's not aligned with standard libraries. It cant make the G0, G1 or G2 condition easily. It has named differently and you cant do it directly in sketches. What I like most about Siemens Solid Edge is how efficiently it supports both parametric and direct modelling through its synchronous technology. It makes quick design changes much easier, because I don’t have to go back and rebuild the entire model each time. One drawback of using Siemens Solid Edge is that the user interface can feel a bit dated compared to more modern CAD platforms, which sometimes makes navigation less intuitive, especially for new users. I’ve also noticed that certain advanced features have a steeper learning curve, particularly when working with complex assemblies or with tools that aren’t used as often. What i dislike about Designcenter Solid Edge is the slightly softer learning curve, coming from Catia many things were able to be "ported", it is more user-friendly and we were able to integrate it on our workflow. What i disliked about Designcenter Solid Edge is that it can slow down with extremely large components. Another thing I disliked is that the interface feels a bit cluttered, making it harder to quickly find certain tools. However, this went away with practice and as i got used to the program.
