I'm a professional editor and a creator on YouTube for years, well versed in a myriad of different editing software, but there is nothing on the market today as fast and intuitive as Descript. it is unclear and inconsistent what can be fixed without uploading additional content. For example, I have been able to heal a misspoken word quickly for a short video when it is the first time I am adding that speaker and then for another file it wanted me to add a lot more to get context for just one word. Our transcription models are about 95% accurate, and can vary based on audio quality. We offer a few ways to correct the transcription and your script for any words that are missed. If you're referring to our Regenerate feature, you should be able to still do one word at a time, but some moments will be better if generated for more words.
