I like how easy it is to drop in a video and audio in Descript. It speeds up the process and provides a great beginning of a post or the details, which I can then build upon with my own knowledge. I really like how Descript simplifies tasks that typically require a lot of time, like difficult edits. The studio sound plugin is really good and helps to get better audio quickly, which is great for scratch voice overs that we don't have the skill set to edit otherwise. I also appreciate the multi-camera editing feature, as it makes handling multiple camera shots for podcasts or virtual interviews much better. The ability to just drop different scenes into Descript improves the overall workflow. Another standout feature is the AI chatbot that allows us to make edits just by explaining what we want done instead of doing it manually, which I find really powerful. I would love to see even more improvements in the multi camera edit. Right now, it works much better with multiple audio tracks. But there are many circumstances where I only have one audio track, and being able to detect mouths moving and still do those cuts would be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Descript makes it really easy to edit a video or audio file into a final product, whether it's for a podcast or a video. I like that you can make the edits on a text level, meaning if I just want to delete a portion of the text, it also deletes a portion of the video. I use Descript for recording podcasts, creating social media clips from the podcast, and creating videos and trainings. I appreciate how it's an easy way to edit video and audio, saving me time. I like the text-based editing feature, and I find the separate track editing for multi-person recordings useful. The AI sound enhancement feature is something I enjoy as well. The AI features were really glitchy. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. A lot of the times the uploads of recordings from their studio didn't work, or I had to rely on backup recordings which were subpar. They also changed their pricing structure which was a huge jump for subpar features that were so glitchy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm use to editing on iMovie and things like Final Cut, I've even tried basic CapCut, however this makes editing as easy as editing a document! and its very fast as well. I like being able to turn clips into "Cold Opens" by copy pasting the text from a section to the top of the script and it actually working rather well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

all of that being said, I wish the Hot keys were more universal like a lot of other editing software for the times when I do go in and want to just eidit a specific thing or Mark a specific time stamp or "split" a video somewhere to insert. also Underlord is a bit buggy. The audio and video when was finalized doesn't produced a smooth and clear recordings for there are two parts of few seconds slots damaging the entire the beautiful tailored audio and video.
