Honestly, that helps everyone involved in the transportation industry and my drivers have commented how nice it is to work with someone who doesn't interrupt them all the time while they're working. My boss didn't like the bill that arrived, but I think he'd hate to have to file insurance claims on lost loads or fraudulent activites more than paying for a program that is so detailed. I use MacroPoint on EVERY shipment I book and require it in my rate confirmations as "mandatory." I LOVE THIS!!! **What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?** I wish it was "real time" vs pinging every 15 minutes and I occassionally have issues with Aljex populating the incorrect field data into MacroPoint instead of the driver's phone number or trailer that has GPS capabilities - that happens very rarely, but to be noted. Searching out file numbers can be kind of difficult when you need the answer immediately but with some practice I had it figured out. **What problems is Descartes MacroPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's proven quite useful in fraud prevention as a broker, accurate timeframe estimates for nervous clients who need real-time updates regarding their commodities in transit, assisting carrier's dispatchers who are very busy and loose track of a driver's location, allowing the driver's to focus on being safe as they work without being bothered with additional "check calls" from dispatchers and brokers alike, and overall shown to be the difference between the average GPS tracker and the top tier of supply chain visibility tools. My clients LOVE IT when I send them a snipe of their shipment arriving ahead of time and saving the day with their own customers. ### 4. What helps me the most about this application is being able to connect with the drivers and trucks in which we transport land loads. We do it in a very fast and simple way, thanks to how easy and comfortable this platform and the cell phone app are. 2. The advantages of using Macropoint is that the vast majority of companies and drivers are familiar with the application. Despite trying other applications, most of the time we agree on using Macropoint. 3. The frequency in which we use this application is daily and it is the one we use the most compared to other applications. Because it opens very quickly on the computer and most drivers have the app on their cell phone. **What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint?** What I don't like is the support we have when integrating carriers through ELD, some do not have this application and when we send it to them they take a long time to accept it and integrate it. Wish links between macro and carriers directly linked worked better. Do not see the pings as frequently as I would like to and do not carrier over to our TMS notes. **What problems is Descartes MacroPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?** We utilize it as a secondary source for tracking. Allows us to quickly get updated locations if we just need a location to pass along to a customer. ### 45.
