"Descartes Screening: Extremely Easy to Use with Customizable Precision"
5/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

Descartes Screening is extremely easy to use. I like that you can tailor the results to how precise or ballpark you want the search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

I honestly haven't had any issues with the screening. If there was one thing that isn't great, it's that I keep getting hits on people that I searched for years ago and it no longer applies. But there is probably a way to update that in the system. It happens so rarely that I forget to look into it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Compliance Platform Paired with Risk Reduction"
5/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

Descartes is an essential platform. The fact that it screens hundreds of government and international watchlists is useful, essential, and efficient when it comes to Procurement. False positives are reduced with the use of the AI feature, which is quite new to me. With frequent changes, this platform is always in the know, so it's never behind. That's great because it gives me assurance that the results are accurate. I don't have to worry too much about compliance risk. I love the fact that it supports business growth. Descartes provides flexibility, implementation is fairly easy, and other platforms are able to be interfaced. I use Descartes daily, so it's important to have customer service readily available, which is always a perk for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

When implementing Descartes, implementation and onboarding can be a bit slower than most businesses would want it to be. It can also be complex if you have training or knowledge or the program, but once you learn it, it's easy to utilize. For smaller organizations, the pricing may not be as affordable as other platforms, and integration may not always interface with other systems. So, these are a few things to consider. "Convenient Background Screening with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

I like the convenience that Descartes Denied Party Screening offers, which allows us to conduct background screening effectively. It frees up some of my time by automatically reviewing flagged vendors. The initial setup was very easy and very quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

The fuzzy search sometimes brings up too many results. Results that really don't, shouldn't be in the scope. So I would like a more refined fuzzy search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nandini Singh of Descartes Denied Party...

Thank you for for your feedback. Regarding the fuzzy search, your Customer Support Manager can help you review filter settings and explore options to reduce unnecessary alerts. You can also explore the AI Assist feature of our screening solution, which utilizes Artificial Intelligence to help you rank and prioritize matches and review alerts.

"Intuitive and Escalation, Strong Automation & Good Customer Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

The UI and UX are really seamless and intuitive. I really like the workflow that allows you to escalate to other colleagues. The ability to leave a written basis for the disposition is helpful, especially because you can create canned responses. The integration with Salesforce is very helpful because it allows automation. The customer/technical support is also really timely and helpful. They log tickets on my behalf and are proactive in helping me to solve problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

The pricing for adding batch screening is high. That creates barriers for having enhanced features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

It enables us to perform real-time screening against denied party lists, helping ensure we stay compliant with applicable U.S. Trade Control regulations and guidelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

It can take a little time to navigate to the right page to check any watchlist hits. Also, many aspects of the Descartes suite of options are subscription-based, so we’re only able to access certain parts of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Screening with Real-Time Alerts"
4/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

I like Descartes Denied Party Screening for its real-time automated alerts, which scan vendors and transactions instantly against global watchlists, catching risks before they impact our ERP system at Indus Towers. The seamless integration with our systems is another standout feature; there are no clunky workarounds, just smooth flagging of denied parties or sanctions hits right in our workflow. The low false positive rate is appreciated, as it saves my team hours of manual reviews, making compliance feel effortless for our telecom supply chain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

While it's reliable overall, the interface could be more customizable for our ERP workflow at Indus Towers. Pre-set filters for telecom-specific vendors would save extra clicks. Updates for niche sanctions lists sometimes lag a day, which is nerve-wracking for urgent deals. Mobile alerts are basic too; push notifications with more context would be a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Compliance, Needs Better Navigation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

I like how Descartes Denied Party Screening makes compliance checks simple and efficient. It allows us to quickly screen names against multiple restricted and watchlists, which saves a lot of time compared to manual checks. I also appreciate its clear results and easy search process, which helps our team verify information confidently and maintain compliant business operations. The quick screening features allow us to check names against multiple global restricted and watchlists within seconds, which saves significant time compared to doing manual checks. This helps us process verifications faster when dealing with new clients or business partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

While Descartes Denied Party Screening works well for compliance checks, there are a few areas that could be improved. Sometimes the search results can show multiple similar matches, which requires additional time for manual review and confirming the correct records. Another area for improvements could be a more user-friendly interface and clearer filtering options, which would make it easier to navigate and analyze results quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use with Great Support and Comprehensive Screening Coverage"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

Easy to use, with good customer support. The screening coverage lists are broad and comprehensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

Multi-party screening is restricted to only five parties, but we need at least 10. The batch screening results could also be better. There’s no option for customers to edit the lists on our end, and every time we need a revision for dynamic screening, we have to ask the support team to update the screening lists. "Fast and Reliable Compliance Screening with Some Setup Challenges"
4/5
What do you like best about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

I like that Descartes Denied Party Screening is consistent, as the screening is done the same way every time. It's fast, which helps avoid delays in approvals and transactions. I also appreciate the traceability it provides, allowing me to clearly see what was screened and why it was flagged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Denied Party Screening?

The biggest challenge for me is false positives. Sometimes the system flags matches that turn out to be harmless, especially when names are common, and that creates extra manual work and slows down the process. Also, the setup and fine-tuning phase takes efforts. To get the best results, you need to spend time adjusting rules, thresholds, and match settings—otherwise, you end up with too many alerts. The initial setup was manageable but not super easy—it's definitely not a plug-and-play tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nandini Singh of Descartes Denied Party...

Naveen, thank you for offering your insights in this review. We are glad that the speed and consistency in Descartes Denied Party Screening support your workflow. To help reduce false positives, your Customer Support Manager can walk you through AI Assist, which uses machine learning to prioritize high‑risk alerts.
