I think Descartes Datamyne is really great. I find information on it much more quickly than on Import Genius. I also like the usability and the ability to search the whole bill of lading. It's much more user-friendly for finding import records or separate commodities and drilling down on information to find sales targets. We're also able to find additional leads. The contract is quite long, and the billing contact was completely unresponsive. We signed up for the global program and realized we didn't need it, but the sales rep said we're locked in, even though all we needed was the USDNA. This resulted in a big price difference that I didn't understand. The Columbia data is lacking compared to another service we have, which is preferred by our office in Columbia. The customer service rep was very rude and unhelpful when trying to adjust the level of service. There's not much information available on US exports, which is really unfortunate.
