I'm in accounting and I like the factor profiles and ability to assign a factor to a carrier. That function streamlined out carrier payments from what we previously had. I also like the customer support. I find them to be knowlegeable and prompt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Descartes Aljex? Even though I can appreciate the data integrity reasons behind it, I dislike that there is not a function to unrealse a load once it's released. I think people with certain permissions (like accounting or managers) should be able to unrelease a load. The biggest problem for me with this is that if a carrier sends in a valid receipt or accessorial charge request and we've already released the load to accounting, there is no way to update a rate con. I have to have an Adobe subscription so I can manually edit/update the rate con. It's important for cash flow that we keep loads flowing through to be invoiced so this happens every couple days at least. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Well we have using this software for quite a while now and for different purposes. First I will have to say that Aljex is fast as compared to other software. It has a osm features to sync your files from your selected folder so you don't have to worry about keeping that so many places Also it keep track of payment details such as I can keep a track of payments all this can be tracked on load section. Also all the details and documents are at one place like customer details and carrier details as well as shippment details. Also I share multiple documents easily. There is missing feature to duplicate multiple loads at once instead of that there is only option do one at a timewhich is time consuming. Descartes Aljex is solving many problems for us like freight management is much simple now just like a day to day task, By automating routine task it saves a lot time and effort. Aljex is very convenient giving you opportunity to perform lots of operations in a moment, with very big functionality for all departments, starting from the order entry team to billing. It will take you a moment to get information on what's going on today, or how your company performed yesterday, last week, month, etc. The connection to the boards is highly useful - you can only post all your loads momentarily but also get all analytics from there. I can't find any unnecessary functionality - probably there are some functions, but I simply do not use it in my work, it doesn't mean others do not use it. I love Aljex. I like how easy it is to create and build BOLs and Ratecons. The experience is quite smooth and I have never had an issue with freezing, delays, or crashes. I dont like that once you mark a load picked up by mistake there is no way to take it off. The look is very ancient looking and should be a customer portal option avaible for LTL and FTL.
