Dental Intel / Modento have been an AMAZING addition to our company. The time it has saved our team is priceless. With the analytics end, technical support (even for training questions!) to the patient communication, we finally have a system that works! Absolute trash of a company. I’ve spoken to 3 people there including Casey and Gwen to cancel this account. We signed up for a two-year term but after switching softwares we can no longer use them. Nothing in our agreement says we can’t cancel before the term ends and yet they continue charging our card. We keep disputing and getting our funds back but no one there will listen and just stop charging our card. Do not trust this company. Our favorite feature from Dental Intel is being able to create recall lists through very specific filters. It helps us get a more comprehensive list than if we were to use Eaglesoft to get a list of patients. We have much success using this to fill specific gaps in time or doctor's schedules. It is VERY intelligent, so we don't have many issues or errors. We've only found that the re-appointment data is not always accurate. This is partially due to user error, as some services were not attached. But in some cases where services WERE attached at the time of scheduling, it was still not being counted as a re-appointed visit. We are still looking into this issue on our end, though. If you are able to maintain a full and productive schedule, it's going to be tough to get a lot out of this software. Our hygiene production is already doing well, Re-book percentage already high, production rates good... that's what this software tries to help you with.
