Densar BK is built for developers, freelancers and technical teams: the machines where junctions, .env files and toolchains live. Git saves the code. The rest of a working machine is somewhere else: the memory of the AI agent you work with, the .env files and keys that never go into a repository, the junctions that point outside the project folder, the local configs, the toolchain and its versions. A file-sync tool either copies those or skips them, and putting them back together on the other side is a separate job. Densar scans the root folder and works out what a project actually needs in order to run again elsewhere. It writes a single encrypted archive, using the open age standard and a password you choose, and leaves out what can be rebuilt from scratch: in one real run, 0.38 GB archived against 21.73 GB of build caches left behind, because those come back with npm install and cargo build. Restoring is where it parts company with copying. On the new PC, Densar recreates the junctions as links instead of turning them into duplicates that drift apart, remaps the agent's memory to the new paths, reinstalls the toolchain and dependencies through winget, npm, cargo and pip, and then lists the steps still missing for each project, with the command to run and the folder to run it in. The classic backup types are there as well: mirror, full, differential and incremental, free with no time limit and written in open formats you can read without Densar. Analysis is free and shows what Densar would find on your system before you decide anything. Creating a smart backup is a one-time 59 euro, not a subscription. Restoring is always free, on any machine, with or without a licence, so an archive stays usable whatever you decide later. Windows to Windows.
