"Dendi IS Awesome!"
5/5
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

What I liked best about Dendi LIS was its customizable features and its super intuitive user interface. Outside of the actual LIS, the support team was incredible. Anytime we had an issue ( and there weren't many ), or we needed a new feature added, they were open to communication and got right on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

For our covid testing business, there really was nothing I didn't like about Dendi. For months we were working on finding the right Lab Info System and nothing checked all the boxes. Dendi was the first program that fit our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is well-designed and very practical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I wish that it would flag the provider when putting in the order if all the necessary information is not put in when placing the order instead of double checking on the back end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dendi as a tool is intuitive and useful, however not very flexible for broad application."
1.5/5
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Cloud based, rather than application based, software in the lab industry is a must. Keeping everything online is the best way to optimize the efficiency necessary for a lab to succeed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

Being a smaller company, Dendi has struggled in the past with hot fixes for bugs that render updated tools useless. I don't believe there has been enough testing done prior to full releases to give me confidence in new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dendi LIS"
4/5
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Overall, I like the product.

The team at Dendi is very responsive and knowledgeable regarding technical support and development.

The UI is slick and polished (mostly), and it is very easy to navigate.

The API is beneficial and easy to work with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

The product is relatively new, with some usability and integration gaps.

There are some UI glitches and shortcomings, but they are constantly updating the application, so I expect these issues to be corrected in future revisions.

Dendi does not provide much of the user-defined customization you typically see in other LIS applications. For instance, Dendi has no user-defined fields or tables.

Most LIS systems these days natively support HL7 2.x integration and many of the major vendors support HL7 FHIR as well. Unfortunately, Dendi does not natively support HL7 FHIR or HL7 2.x integrations. All integration with the LIS must be handled through the Dendi API or an integration engine that interacts with the API (Dendi favors Mirth).

Analytics and ad-hoc reporting capabilities are limited.

A lot of overhead in API traffic due to how the data is structured and what data is returned.

The API documentation is frequently out of date or incorrect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dendi simplifies the SAAS LIS model for medical laboratories"
5/5
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Dendi's LIS platform for medical laboratories is robust and easy to use. The onboarding process was fast and efficient - No downtime! Training my employees was effortless because the system is highly intuitive. In a nut-shell, I like that Dendi is a SAAS program that is easy to use and implement. You will be up and running in days. "Sleek, Modern, Professional, High Functioning Lab Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Dendi LIS has taken a different road to success than its competitors. They chose to create a platform to solve LIS problems from the ground up. This produces a user-friendly, professional, modern, sleek solution. Most of the competitors in this space tack code onto an outdated product creating Frankenstein Software. Dendi upgrades their product every 2 weeks using suggestions from within and from their clients. They are careful to keep their clients within compliance and explain why the suggestion is not a good one. Technical Support is excellent. Dendi addresses current trends much more quickly than other software in the lab environment and even compared to main stream software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

I cannot think of any downside or dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dendi LIS Software Review"
5/5
What do you like best about Dendi LIS?

Ease of use. Ability to integrate quickly and easily with EDC and billing software. Sleek laboratory interface. Easy to set up and start using in the laboratory. Staff listen to concerns and develop solutions to address them. . Physician Portal is easy to use by clinical and research staff. Equipment integration is available. We can color code and flag test results on patient reports. Responsive technical support team. The staff listens to clients and then makes updates to the software that will benefit all users no matter what type of testing you are doing from basic CBC to more advanced sequencing/high complexity testing. Report QR codes are good, especially for labs providing tests like Covid-19. Document control is good whether it is account set-up forms, physician verification documents, as well as insurance cards when placing test orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?

More detailed analytics section or separate software that would capture additional site or test statistics for non-testing site personnel. The ability for sites to order kits/laboratory materials through LIS physician portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
