The platform is very easy to figure out (compared to two others I tried before purchasing), and their support staff is super responsive and helpful. I can do live webinars and also make recorded versions available for on demand viewing. It's been a lifesaver during the pandemic as I had to transition to offering my curriculum online. Recommendations to others considering Demio: Do a complete trial run first with a friend or colleague to make sure you can find the files you've uploaded to share with your audience. What problems is Demio solving and how is that benefiting you? I usually teach all my curriculum in hands-on working lab in our teaching gardens. In pandemic times, I'm unable to hold any in-person classes and have had to transition to online education (webinars). It's been terrific. I've been able to market the webinars and still generate much-needed revenue for my program and organization, and I've been able to continue to educate home gardeners and support their efforts to grow more of their own food. Attendees can submit questions, react with emojis, and go onstage. Demio also doesn't require a software download making it super easy for all attendees to join. Just as the browser experience makes it easier for attendees to join, I've noticed that if you don't have a strong internet connection you get dropped from the event pretty easily. Things I loved about using Demio: I was able to brand my webinar with my company colors and logo. It was easy to create an event that had multiple viewing times. It was sometimes a little tricky to figure out how to upload my presentation materials, but it got easier the more I did it. There's a lot to like about Demio, but their intuitive interface, responsive support, and flexible roadmap are the primary reasons we chose Demio over several other competing platforms that we researched and tested. The in-room experience Demio provides is also fantastic, with clickable CTAs, polling, and the ability to highlight questions in the chat and display them "on stage" when answering. As of this review, Demo lacks some advanced features that competitors offer, like automated comments, completely customizable email communications, gated recordings, separate speaker and shared-screen video file downloads, etc.; but, being so new, we're confident many of these features will be available in time. Their chat response time is less than 5 minutes and they are quick to resolve any issues or answer any questions. Running a webinar is easy when you have their customer support to walk you through set up. I love that I can record a webinar and run it along with a live chat. Participants can register right in Demio and all the reminders and the recording are sent directly through Demio. It truly is the easiest way to run a successful webinar! One aspect that is not user-friendly is having to set up a duplicate of the webinar for practice before the actual webinar, using a different link. Reaching a lot of people through the easy marketing and registration process, rather than having to use a third-party invite and then forwarding the link.
