Granular permissions between users and roles. Decent customization options in hubs. Idea portal at least gives some transparency and communication between customers and developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Security roles need improvement, primarily ability to assign multiple roles per user. Without this, we require dozens of unique roles that all require updates at times. Admins need to be able to log in as user/role to resolve issues.

Reports cannot pull from multiple grids within the same hub and are very difficult to format. No table joins/cannot pull data from employee + project. No valuable information available in the Learning Hub on key information required to configure custom reports, but the general assumption that all customers will be able to do this to fill in the massive reporting gaps provided.

Expense report functionality is insanely minimal. No reporting options other than "travel" expenses, but we have to use "travel" expenses for many non-travel related expenses just to pro-program in a unit cost, or "cost per mile" because that is the only option available. No option to program expense report related alerts as timesheets have; meaning no reminders to submit on time. No floor check for expense reports. No option to restrict timesheets to periods, like timesheets. We have monthly expense reports and could use all of these options.

Dashparts relatively useless. Cannot pull custom data or grid data, cannot join tables. Very minimal data available to use; very limited ability to provide company-wide dashparts due to security role limitations.

Billing customizations required for state clients are expensive and take a long time to produce. Billing terms needs a hub list view.

No community area dedicated to sharing dashparts, dashboards, invoice formats, and hubs. There is a forum, but users need to search through or read through every post in the hopes of finding something shared. It's ideal to have a community area exclusively for uploading/downloading that is easily searchable with screenshots and use case scenarios. Additionally, we'd like to see "Community Dashparts" in the Library - where we can get an idea of what other companies are using and apply them to our own environment.

Idea portal needs improvement and more attention from developers. There are a million great ideas in there we're all dying to see added, but too much focus is spent on AI that we just don't need. Ideas should not be marked as "released" when the update is scheduled for months away, or there should at least be a tag/filter option to sort by update/version releases rather than having to read through all the comments to find a Deltek employee who confirms what version it was released in.
