Project managers sometimes don't input any job name and charge number. Internal problem - I know - but still a problem that "I" can't just fix and be done with it. Also, since I use job NUMBERS rather than job NAMES, it would be nice if the time sheet panel could organize by job number instead of name at the top. So we would have a job number column and then the job name column on the time sheet charge area. There is more project breakdowns with tasks and and activiteis compared to others. Easy to use the time entry for employees. **What do you dislike about Deltek Replicon Time?** The menus are very glitchy with windows and drop downs jumping up and down (feels like a beta release). The reports are difficult to customize and never seam to do what we need. The time entry page layout should be more customizable (it was in the past), but now the heiarchy of information is not ideal. For example, the combining of Task and Client in one box is bad for us and client so small of a font size. We work with many clients at the same time with identical tasks which makes finding the correct project in the list challenging. The interface of Replicon is highly intuitive and user friendly meaning that you don't necessarily need in-depth training on how to use and manage it, particularly if you are enrolled as an employee. **What do you dislike about Deltek Replicon Time?** At the moment, I don't have anything that I dislike to report about Replicon with my experiences with it so far. **Recommendations to others considering Deltek Replicon Time:** For those that are considering Replicon, you could try out their trial offer to see if it is a fit for your company and your finance administration and management goals. **What problems is Deltek Replicon Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** While I find the notification from Replicon that I receive on a daily basis reminding me that I have to complete my timesheet for the payroll period somewhat pestering, I do find it helpful to keep me on track. Perhaps its best to modify the settings of the notifications and reminders for them not to be send so frequently. However, this is the only con about this product. ### 25. My indifference or neutrality is more a function of the HR/time management systems of organizations that I have worked for, which has nothing to do with Replicon. I am not sure if it's just my industry - international development - but within this space because funding/money is coming from so many different sources, there is a lot of reporting pressure to donors to demonstrate the breakdown of time and therefore the productivity of their money. In my experience, that leads to a multitude of cost centers and a requirement to log hours every day which is just tedious/confusing and annoying. **Recommendations to others considering Deltek Replicon Time:** I think the integrated expense tracking function is a bonus of Replicon. Specifically in smaller NGOs/research organizations, much of the tracking and approval softwares are disparate. Just having 2 functions integrated takes away a lot of the inconvenience and makes it easier for the daily user. I haven't used another software like Replicon since IPA, as I am currently in graduate school and my internship uses something called eHour, but I would recommend others considering using, to know/be aware of all of the features because I think it is a powerful tool. **What problems is Deltek Replicon Time solving and how is that benefiting you?** From just a user perspective, and not from an HR point of view, my impression is that the software makes it convenient to track hours across projects/activities, which enables the communications and HR teams to have a comprehensive idea of how people are spending/categorizing their time. It does a reasonable job with all of these tasks. For the most part, data entry is fairly efficient. Nothing in particular stands out as excellent, but I'd describe most functions as adequate to our needs. I like that I can export my timesheet history information to Excel for analysis. **What do you dislike about Deltek Replicon Time?** I find the timesheet reporting system to be a bit clunky. Most reports end up being too detailed or too summarized. The UI is a bit dated, at least in our version. Our version doesn't have the ability to submit receipts electronically. Maybe that's a feature in a newer version - I'm not sure. We work around that by emailing them to accounting separately. **Recommendations to others considering Deltek Replicon Time:** This is a decent tool for time tracking, expense management, and vacation time management.
