As someone who enters a decent amount of accounts payable, I appreciate the integration of ComputerEase on all phases of invoicing, job costing, etc. Overall, I find it easy to use and understand. I also appreciate that you can add notes within an AP voucher entry which allows you to add more detail when you have the invoice in front of you. As such, rather than going back at a later point and pulling the physical invoice, I can pull up the voucher in the invoice register and refernce the note that was created. As a newer employee of our company, the inventory module and its functionality took several months for me to learn. There are several specific functions that are fairly complex and time sensitive at month-end in order to have a smooth month close. The robust job-tracking capabilities. It allows you to track costs via invoicing, payroll, and journal entries/ postings directly to the jobs. I also appreciate their Q Tools function, which allows you to build your own reports. The ability to export financial reports into an Excel file is also incredibly helpful. (This just shows how robust the software is.) Thankfully their support is easy to contact and they always help me figure things out. We previously used Quickbooks, which simply isn't designed to be used as a multi-job construction accounting software. Yes, you can build it and utilize it that way, but it takes a lot of time and effort and will never get quite get you where you want to be. ComputerEase comes pre-designed, so it saves you time there. Also, it has all the bells and whistles. If you need a specific report, someone has already programmed it. If you realize you need to make a job posting outside of your usual modules, someone has already thought of that. I like that ComputerEase is an all in one software. I can use the program in all aspects of business. It covers A/P, A/R, Construction, Service, Fleet Management...everything that we need in one place without using different softwares. ComputerEase is our goto software that we use everyday. I love that they have online classes so that you get the most out of your software. The payroll sutomer support is very responsive.
