I feel Deltek has been doing a good job of training and making information available to their users. **What do you dislike about Deltek Ajera?** Our conversion almost 9 years ago was lacking in information and training prior to going live. This was primarily due to our conversion specialist. Since then we have found ways to gather the necessary information and taken classes or self training to find ways to process and gather information. However, some of the critical processes were not explained and now we’re not utilizing certain steps to make the overall processes most effective. The capability to make groups of changes instead of individual changes (i.e. staff type changes, rate changes, etc.) I’m the administrator and main user in Ajera and find it difficult to get all necessary information and data into the system to use it most effectively and also find the time to do some of the higher level reporting. Too much training is about reporting and project management features/data instead of providing basic data entry for new accounting support staff to make it accurate, standardized and useful. **What problems is Deltek Ajera solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our accounting needs: payroll, time entry, expense entry, AP, AR, and all Project based needs. ### 2. This allows me to better understand my KPIs and make informed decisions to improve performance based on those insights. ### 3. It's reliable and has never been down for an extended period of time. Support has been greatly improving over the last year and I am becoming confident I will receive the assistance I need. **What do you dislike about Deltek Ajera?** There are many, many workarounds, glitches, "unknowns", gremlins, or whatever you want to call them in this system. Without having used the system for over a year, many of these "errors" would be difficult to understand or solve. Often times Ajera representatives don't understand why something works the way it does, but they agree it shouldn't. **What problems is Deltek Ajera solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ajera Deltek helps us create meaninful financials, track project time and store project data (we still manipulate the data outside of the system for meaningful project information). It helps us see the big picture and be able to drill down quickly to understand the "why". ### 6.
