What do you like best?

Dell PowerEdge R940 is an impressive machine. Whether you're a hardcore gamer, general writer, or just trying to work from home, it keeps up without missing a beat. Extremely easy to customize all of your settings and connections, and most add-ons are so intuitive, there's little to no struggle with anything new. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish it were a little easier to clean, but honestly, it's no more difficult than most items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I'm able to easily work from home and transition between multiple programs without any slow down. The machine is a few years old, yet still runs better than most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

More efficient and speedy use of NVME based disks in a 3U server. Built in 10GBE nics are a huge plug and scalable server with with up to 4 sockets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

iDRAC was a little confusing to set up, but once that was up and running there were no issues. Had a bit of a hard time mounting, but that may have been the fault of out current rack. The rail kit was fairly easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SUpports VMware ESXI right out of the box, which allowed us to take advantage of this already powerful server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
