What I like best about Thycotic is how flexible it is with how I organize my shared secrets. I can have a nested folder structure that makes hierarchical sense to my team. It is also straightforward to duplicate an existing secret, which enables me to add new secrets using another secret as a template. Thycotic also has built-in and extensible secret templates, which is great because it lets us store additional metadata or related information with our secrets, such as the URI for an SFTP server, or attach a certificate file to a secret, for example. We have enabled two-factor authentication to access Thycotic in our organization, and this can be a bit of a hassle to deal with every time I need to access a secret. I would prefer if Thycotic supported trusting a device for a certain period so that I don't have to use the second factor every time I log in. Secret Server provides a centralized location for authorized personnel to store and retrieve critical credentials. It integrates with Active Directory, supports multifactor, and has a ton of interactive features that allow for automated password rotation, etc. Another great feature is activity auditing on all secrets. Security is the most important for us. Thycotic provides a strong solution for Secret Server, you can have all your critical and non-critical servers providing different levels of access by creating groups based in the Sys Admins you have and the roles they in the organization.

The only think I don;t like of this tool, is that it makes the processes slow since you have to enter Comments every time you try to log in a server, well, this is the reason why you implement this, look for rise your security levels, but it makes the log in process slow since users have to invest time entering comments for each server on each connection.
