The same information can not always be pulled for every organization so sometimes there are small gaps however i dont believe that is directly Definitives fault. **What problems is Definitive Healthcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** most of this information you can not find just by searching the internet unless a one off article was written about them or they happen to publicly display their stats, which is rare.Definitive pulls from linkedin in some cases which verifys the accuracy and has a time stamp. we use this information to better understand our customers and how they operate. its very useful and we would otherwise not know any of this unless we asked the right person and they were willing to share, which again is rare. **Official Response from Danielle Johns:** > Hi Haley, thank you so much for your review! We had a one year contract with DH, we did not find the service valuable to our company. As a smaller company we have a limited budget for expenses like this but it was worth a year contract for us. We did not find the service to help us at all, when we wanted to cancel our contract after the year they told us we missed the window to canel and the contract auto-renewed with an 8% increase.We were not aware of the canecellation date, but we were just a few days late nontheless. The interface is clunky. The search methodology is complicated and unintuitive. But the real problem i s we've found error rates up to 30% of lists generated requires us to spend a lot of time cleaning it. **What do you dislike about Definitive Healthcare?** Pretty much everything. We were leary of signing a 3 year contract (required) with a service we'd never used before. When we mentioned this the sales rep said "we'll work something out if it's not what you need. We're not in the business of forcing our contracts on companies if the service isn't what they need." And yet....you guessed it...this is exactly what they've done. And I'm sure this is why they insist on 3 year contracts - no one would renew. Our Account Rep Anthony was cool, tried to help (hard to fix systemic errors in data collection). But everyone else we worked with was unhelpful. **What problems is Definitive Healthcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's not solving any - we weren't able to actively use it. Right now we'd love it if we could part company. But we're stuck with them for 2 more years. You can use a hospital search filter which can narrow down results, or if you have a hospital in mind you can download years worth of data.The data all comes from the medicare cost reports which makes them reliable data and very useful. **What do you dislike about Definitive Healthcare?** There is nothing I dislike, you can save your searches **What problems is Definitive Healthcare solving and how is that benefiting you?** You can compare any organization all at once. Downloading the CMS cost reports is very hard and you need to combine using sSQL and need to do it for each year. However Definitive combines all this information for you into one digestible format. We switched to Zoominfo and our Sales Team loves it. DHC's database was useless for our company as they do not keep key contacts updated in their database that my sales team was targeting. After highlighting this fact to Account Management, they tried to steer us towards other aspects of their database that were essentially useless to us. We asked to end the contract early and they refused. Working with their Account Management team, it seem like they had little power to either make the platform and database useful, nor did they have the power to provide creative solutions for us to end our relationship on a positive note. They seem really rigid. Be sure to test out their database and product extensively before committing. Once they get you in a contract, they're not letting you out...even if you prove to them that their database do not perform accordingly and that their contacts are outdated with information missing. Lack of customer friendly solution and AM empowerment left a bad feeling with us. **Recommendations to others considering Definitive Healthcare:** Do not do it. DHC has not provided any benefits and their contact information is outdated and incorrect. It has a lot of filters which makes it easy to do my job.
