"Human-Like AI With Great Depth—UI Is Strong, but Bulk Select and Image Analysis Are Missing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Deepseek?

I’ve used a lot of AI. This one is easily my favorite. It feels very human, speaks like a friend, and has great humor. It understands what I’m asking even when I explain things poorly or can’t find the right word. It also explains things in super clear ways and goes into great depth. The examples are great, and it never sticks to only surface-level answers. The hypotheticals and concepts stay logical throughout, and it doesn’t feel unrealistic. It also feels 100% ad-free.

When it comes to pricing, though, I usually get let down by free-trial limits that you can only get past with a paid subscription. Not only is this one free, but it does better than most others—maybe even all of them. It has even helped me work through stuff related to my emotional disorders, which is usually considered not usable for this kind of thing. Overall, don’t sleep on this one if you’re going to use AI. What do you dislike about Deepseek?

When it comes to the user interface, it’s genuinely fantastic—especially the feature that lets you save an image of an entire chat when needed. That said, I’d like it even more if I could select all conversations in a chat at once, instead of having to select each conversation individually. Also, when uploading an image, it seems like it can only extract text. Could a feature be added to analyze any image, not just text-based images? If these two features can be included in future updates, that would be great.

Overall, the performance it delivers is amazing, but there are still a few things that need to be fixed. First, on the computer, pressing Enter ends up sending the message. I need a setting to change this so that Enter creates a new line instead of sending, and sending the message happens only when I press Enter plus another key. Second, the Open AI sources generate images, but this doesn’t generate. Third, the file upload button should support every file type; for example, HTML, CSS, etc., are not properly mentioned. Fourth, the coding should be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Reliable AI with Deep Thinking and Instant/Expert Outputs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepseek?

I love this platform for its fast and reliable output. I love the performance and speed of processing for this platform. The platform have a very user friendly interface. The onboarding of this platform is really easy as we could easily login with our google ID. I also love the AI ability of this platform with the deep thinking capacity. It provide a good logical output which assist a lot in brainstorming and decision making. Other than this the two option to provide two output such as instant and expert is also really helpful as we can get the output according to the needs. The translation capability of this platform is really good. Other than this the ability to generate text from the uploaded files also have a satisfactory output. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

I love most part of this platform but I wish that the platform had zero biased in its output. I have seen that the accuracy of the output drastically drops when the question involves political topics. I also wish that the platform was able to generate some pictures as it would make this platform more complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Creative and Efficient AI Assistant for Learning and Productivity"
4/5
What do you like best about Deepseek?

DeepSeek offers a clean and user-friendly UI that makes navigation simple even for new users. The platform performs well with fast response generation and handles both technical and creative tasks efficiently. Its AI capabilities are impressive, especially for coding, research, brainstorming, and explaining complex topics in a structured way. I also appreciate how it improves productivity by saving time on drafting content and problem-solving. While integrations could expand further, the overall experience is smooth and reliable. In terms of pricing and ROI, it provides strong value compared to many AI tools available today. The onboarding process is straightforward, making it easy to start using immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

One thing I dislike about DeepSeek is that responses can sometimes lack consistency in accuracy, especially for highly specific or recent topics. While the AI performs well for general tasks, occasional factual mistakes still require manual verification. Another limitation is that integrations and advanced collaboration features are not as developed as some competing platforms, which can reduce workflow efficiency for team-based projects. The UI is clean, but certain features could be better organized for faster navigation. I also feel that response customization and personalization options could improve further. Despite these issues, the platform still provides strong overall value for learning, coding, and productivity tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DeepSeek Delivers Top-Tier LLM Quality and Outstanding Value"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepseek?

When DeepSeek first launched, it stood out as one of the most reasonably priced and accessible LLMs on the market — a genuine best-of-its-kind option that delivered serious value for the cost. From day one, the responses felt polished and on par with established players like ChatGPT and Claude, and the UI matched the clean, intuitive feel users expect from top-tier AI providers. It was responsive, interactive, and easy to slot into daily workflows.

Overall Review

UI/UX & Integration: The interface is clean, familiar, and integrates smoothly into common workflows. No steep learning curve, and it feels right at home alongside other major LLM tools.

Performance: Consistently strong. DeepSeek delivered high-quality responses across a wide range of tasks, and the integration with my work felt seamless. Output quality genuinely impressed me from the start.

Pricing & ROI: This is where DeepSeek really shines. Affordable from launch, it offered exceptional ROI — premium-quality output without the premium price tag. For individuals and teams watching costs, it's hard to beat.

Support & Onboarding: Smooth onboarding with minimal friction. Easy to get up and running quickly.

AI Intelligence: With each new release, DeepSeek's models have grown noticeably more capable. The latest version can comfortably be considered among the top-tier LLMs available today, holding its own against any major competitor.

Overall, DeepSeek offers a rare blend of affordability, intelligence, and reliability — and it just keeps getting better with every release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

While DeepSeek has impressed me overall, there are still a few areas where it falls short compared with other top-tier LLMs.

Data privacy concerns are one of the bigger drawbacks. There’s still uncertainty around data handling and privacy policies, and for users in enterprise or regulated environments, that can create real hesitation about entering sensitive information into the platform.

Another issue is inconsistent performance on complex tasks. Everyday queries are handled well, but DeepSeek sometimes struggles with deeply nuanced or highly specialized prompts. Compared with ChatGPT or Claude, it can occasionally miss important context or oversimplify the reasoning needed for more complex problems.

The ecosystem and integrations also feel limited. Unlike competitors with richer plugin ecosystems, third-party integrations, and enterprise connectors, DeepSeek currently offers fewer ways to connect into existing workflows and toolchains, which makes it harder to embed deeply into day-to-day processes.

Content restrictions and censorship are also noticeable. On certain topics—especially geopolitically sensitive ones—DeepSeek tends to refuse requests or respond in an overly cautious way. That can be frustrating when I’m trying to get balanced, well-rounded information.

Customer support is another gap. Response times and the depth of assistance don’t feel as strong as what larger players provide, and for paid users or businesses, that difference is more apparent.

Finally, feature velocity around the broader product seems slower than the model’s core improvements. Surrounding capabilities like advanced memory, custom agents, voice, or multimodal features have taken longer to roll out compared with rivals.

Overall, DeepSeek remains a strong, affordable choice, but improving privacy clarity, strengthening support, and expanding ecosystem depth would go a long way toward closing the gap with top-tier competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

My main concerns are occasional inaccuracies, inconsistent responses for complex tasks, and limited context retention in long conversations. Improving reliability and providing more detailed explanations would make it even more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Simple, and Reliable for Everyday AI and Writing Tasks"
5/5
What do you like best about Deepseek?

Fast and responsive, with quick, accurate replies. It’s simple and easy to use, and the answers are clean and efficient. Great for quick tasks, with a smooth user experience that feels reliable for everyday AI use. It also makes idea generation easy and is helpful for writing tasks, offering a good balance of speed and quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

It occasionally gives inaccurate answers and struggles when the context gets complex. Some responses feel limited in depth and can come across as too generic, which means it can miss nuanced details. Overall, the consistency isn’t always there, so it’s not always reliable. The tone also feels a bit lacking in personality. Because of the accuracy issues, I often need to double-check or verify what it says. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Proficient and Budget friendly Coding Partner."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Deepseek?

DeepSeek was one of the Chinese AI models that became viral instantly, with millions of downloads. and it claimed to be extremely cheap. I also started with it out of curiosity. My usage was mainly in content creation, curation, and research for my daily requirements of Social Media goals.

This tool is useful for businesses, students, researchers, marketers, and coders.

The interface is very simple and fast. We have 3 modes of appearance: System, Light, and Dark. Thinking and searching are quick. We can give inputs through the keyboard and the mic. The responses can be liked/disliked/shared or retried. Quite easy to implement and use.

We have the option of agreeing or disagreeing on the usage of our content to be used to train the models and improve them. The control is in our hands.

It answers questions promptly, summarizes text, and recommends ideas. I have used it for generating titles/ headlines for blogs and articles, and they were quite good. It solves puzzles smartly.

Its strength is coding abilities.

DeepSeek excels in software development due to its code-centric training on vast repositories, supporting 338+ languages like Python, JavaScript, and C++ with strong project-level completion. It can debug and suggest fixes.

It also provides APIs for developers, chatbot interfaces, and options for local or cloud deployment.

DeepSeek’s training and inference costs are cheaper than those of its competitors.

DeepSeek offers open-source versions under permissive licenses, allowing developers to customize, modify, or self-host the models. This fosters community contributions and flexibility.

It is often compared with Gemini in terms of its ability to integrate/capacity to handle large data and output. The choice of tools differs from user to user.

It is an example of low-cost and smart engineering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

There are significant concerns about privacy risks associated with data storage in China. The model censors politically sensitive topics, especially those related to Chinese governance or geopolitics, which undermines its reliability for generating unbiased information. The ecosystem is small, and the accuracy might not be 100%. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It quickly understands questions and provides accurate responses, saving time. It’s simple, reliable, and useful for learning and solving everyday problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

Sometimes the responses can be a bit generic or lack depth on complex topics. It may also miss context in certain detailed queries.

It doesn’t always provide highly detailed or specialized answers, so users may need to verify information from other sources. Occasionally, responses can feel repetitive or less precise for advanced use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Strong logical reasoning and the ability to solve highly technical, field-specific problems with clear, step-by-step explanations are the best things about Deepseek. By uploading images, screenshots, or reports, it can quickly analyze and extract useful information without much effort on my part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepseek?

Consistency can be an issue at times, since the same prompt can produce different results. Also, the information it provides sometimes needs to be verified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
