"Amazing Flexiable Data Tool"
What do you like best about Deepnote?

I'm a finance professional who was brought up on Excel.

I started dabbling in SQL as we have a datawarehouse and then stumbled across Deepnote about 18 months ago.

Deepnote is now an invaluable tool in our Finance department as we have used it to automate reporting and some simple processes.

The AI assistant makes writing code both in Python and SQL a breeze - even for those who arent experts in these languages.

I like the fact that we can share outputs in dynamic apps to the rest of the business and they can play around with filters live.

We also have a number of workbooks scheduled to provide exception reporting to various team members to drive certain behaviours.

I have used thier support team a couple of times, and they have been absolutley great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

There is very little I don't like - I think sometimes it would be nice to have a neater way to export apps to pdfs for printing ahead of certain important meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform for collaborative data science"
What do you like best about Deepnote?

Deepnote allows multiple people to edit the same Jupyter notebook, one that has been significantly enhanced with markdown, charts, SQL and integrations. AI auto-complete is the cherry on top. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

The collaboration itself could be made more real-time. Currently, my partners and I have to work on separate code blocks. If we both work on the same one, we overwrite each other. The AI auto-complete is a bit too fast for my liking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sharing notebooks made easy"
What do you like best about Deepnote?

I love that I can simply transform my python notebooks into user-friendly apps and share them just by using a link. It's so convenient. Compared to google colab and similar online solutions, it is possible to upload the files used by the notebook which is a massive plus! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

There are some minor difficulties with python, e.g. spatial operations sometimes are not compatible due to a lack of spatial index (e.g. rtree) although index is installed. Some things also depend on the kernel version. So, all in all, debugging isn't as easy as on a local machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy use platform with solid AI-based reasoning"
What do you like best about Deepnote?

Love Deepnote because it's become the go-to tool for me to conduct analytics. What I love the most is the way in which labeling my sections is so easy as the gen-AI backend can easily detect what I am most likely do next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

I think that Deepnote's AI completion of code is quite lacking, and it sometimes suggests code that is quite long versus the most efficient form of code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It has been good - expect more AI capabilities"
What do you like best about Deepnote?

The app feature is pretty good - the interchange between languages SQL, python etc has also been good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

I feel like with agents like claude code and cursor - you need a deeper AI stack in the platform to make it stand out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Deepnote?

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

I have been facing problems using the google drive integration. It supposed to be very simple but i keep getting errors. There is not much tutorials online about deepnote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Deepnote for digital pathology"
What do you like best about Deepnote?

- Running multiple notebooks simultanously

- Cool integration of github

-I appreciate the seamless file integration system and the efficient S3 integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

• There aren’t enough AI environments; it would be great to have Torch, RAPIDS, and PyTorch Lightning environments.

• The terminal should be more than just an add-on—running code for training models would be much more convenient.

• An intermediate GPU between the V100 and the K80 could be useful, especially because the Nvidia driver on the K80 doesn’t allow running the latest models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A clean data workbook for creating models."
What do you like best about Deepnote?

The most helpful thing about Deepnote is its cloud-based framework. This enables me to resume working from anywhere and share my results dynamically with others. Another helpful attribute is the AI companion that comes with the Pro subscription. When improving Ml model performance the AI can implement various techniques such as hyperparameter tuning and feature selection to improve accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

I dislike that if I change a small feature in a recent block of code, then I need to run the whole notebook again. This makes working a bit cumbersome in the long-term. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Make easier your process with and from data"

What do you dislike about Deepnote?

The cost, so i have to control how many people has access to build with it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
