Both keyboard shortcuts for translation have quickly become muscle memory. The first shortcut is to quickly transfer the highlighted text into the application itself, translate, edit and paste back into any other application. The second shortcut is for translating the highlighted text on the spot. I use both on a daily basis and they work great. The app itself works great on the MacBook Air M1. Well, the main reason is the quality of the translation. I have tried many popular solutions, but DL suited me the best. Sometimes I use this tool just to paraphrase text, as the quality of the generated text is very high. And the speed of the application is amazing. There is a free version, but this is one of the few tools that I pay for with great pleasure to support the developers and further development of the product. **What do you dislike about DeepL Translate?** There are a couple things that could be improved. The first is related to the continuous development and improvement of the application. Because of this, new versions can sometimes suddenly overload the CPU and the app has stopped responding a couple times. The second is related to text translation. The app often confuses gender when translating text. I am male and when I write text on my behalf, I need to control that the translated text corresponds to my gender. As a Turkish user, the structure of sentences in our language is the opposite of English sentences and DeepL translates with great sentence structures despite this. If I select the alternative and continue typing the text I am going to translate, the alternative I selected disappears and returns to what it was before I selected it, the first translated version. Sometimes it cannot translate some special words and terms. Unfortunately, I get help from Google Translate for this.
