"Awesome Speech-to-Text Accuracy and Punctuation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

The speech-to-text accuracy and punctuation are awesome compared with GCP and Azure STT. Pricing is also better than other services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

Sometimes Nova 2 performs better than Nova 3, and Nova 3 still doesn’t support keywords. Also, the multi-language detection isn’t very accurate when you compare results across multiple streams. In my DilMesh app, I create a separate stream for each language that might be spoken. At our events we generally use Turkish and English, so the app creates two streams—one for Turkish and one for English—and then selects the final results based on the confidence response. Multi stream method works terrific when you compared with built-in multi language detection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Accuracy and Speed for Legal Transcription"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

I really like the outstanding accuracy of Deepgram. In our law firm, where precision is critical, it consistently delivers highly accurate transcriptions even with varied accents, legal terminology, and occasionally poor audio quality. The speed of Deepgram is also impressive; what used to take hours of manual work is now done in minutes, which helps us process evidence faster, especially with tight court deadlines. The initial setup was relatively straightforward, thanks to the clear and well-structured API documentation that made integration manageable with our existing workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

Occasionally, Deepgram tends to hallucinate — generating words or phrases that were not actually spoken in the recording. In a legal context, this is a concern because inaccurate transcriptions can be misleading. It requires us to manually review and verify transcripts before relying on them, which adds some extra time back into our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Precision and low latency in Spanish, with quick integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

The model's accuracy and the extremely low real-time latency are excellent. The integration was quick and the overall performance in Spanish surpasses most alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

That it is hosted only in the USA and not in the EU is a negative point. Also, the API sometimes turns out to be complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emily Coleman of Deepgram

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're glad the accuracy and low latency have worked so well for your Spanish calls, and that integration was quick with strong speaker separation. I do have some good news for you; we do offer an EU endpoint with all processing kept inside the EU, so you can keep everything in-region. You can learn more at the link below!

"Effortless API Integration for Voice AI"
4/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

I use Deepgram for building products that require voice and transcription live. I really appreciate how it allows me to easily bring in voice AI into my products and enables my customers to communicate with an AI agent. What I like most is the ease of using the API for everything. It's great how my agents can connect the API directly into applications with such ease. Additionally, the initial credits with Deepgram were quite generous, allowing me to get a lot more usage out of it. The initial setup is very easy, especially using agentic coding tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

There was one issue where chunks were sent in the wrong order. But other than that, it has been easy to use. I think that bug was fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emily Coleman of Deepgram

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Deepgram. We're thrilled to hear that our API has been easy to use and you were able to get a lot of mileage out of your credits. We're looking forward to seeing what else you create with us.

"Easy to put in production"
4/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

I really like how easy it is to integrate Deepgram into an existing application. The documentation is clear and the API response is very useful, especially the detailed transcription data and confidence scores. It helped me improve the reliability of my voice features without spending too much time debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

It would be great to have more examples for advanced use cases and clearer guidance for some configuration options. Also, improving some translations across the dashboard and documentation would make the experience better for users who are not native English speakers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Emily Coleman of Deepgram

Thank you for the thoughtful review. We're glad Deepgram was easy to integrate and that the docs and confidence scores helped you ship reliable voice features without a lot of debugging. I'm passing along your request for more advanced examples and improving translations across the dashboard and docs. We appreciate your taking the time to share it!

"Eases Speech Processing with Competitive Pricing"
4/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

I find Deepgram to be an industry leader with good pricing. The initial setup was trivial for us, and compared to Azure speed services that I used at my last company, Deepgram is much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

I'm a bit frustrated by having to research potential NAT port exhaustion issues with our AWS setup while using Deepgram. I really wish Deepgram had a colo option in USEast-1 in AWS, given how ubiquitous that particular region is for US businesses. I don't want to self-host Deepgram at our present scale, but also don't want to rely on numerous public Internet gateway hops. That's unfortunate because we are presently stuck in the middle somewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Deepgram’s Trial Credits Make Trying STT Easy Before You Buy"
5/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

The best thing about Deepgram is that it lets users try the platform’s STT and other modules first using trial credits, which helps them get a fair understanding of the product before deciding to buy it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

So far, I haven’t figured out any issues that I would say I disliked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Real-Time Transcription: Fast, Accurate, and Easy to Integrate"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

Real-time transcription speed and accuracy is exceptional. I integrated Deepgram into my Windows app StreamVox for live audio translation, and the API was straightforward to set up. The documentation is clear, WebSocket streaming works reliably, and latency is low enough for real-time subtitle overlays. The Nova model handles different accents well even with background noise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

The dashboard could use more detailed usage analytics and graphs. It would be helpful to see per-request breakdown and latency stats in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Deepgram does dive deep into Transcripts but offers more tutorials for solutions too!"
5/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

Deepgram has made more of an effort in Dev Outreach, showing how developers can make good use of all of the tools that Deepgram has to offer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

No-code is good, but an expanded Free Tier would help indie developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impressive Speech-to-Text Accuracy for Medical/Healthcare Use Cases"
5/5
What do you like best about Deepgram?

We evaluated Deepgram for our medical education platform (PassBoards.ai (http://passboards.ai/)) and were impressed by the transcription accuracy with medical terminology — ophthalmology terms, drug names, anatomical structures. The API is clean and well-documented, latency is low, and their team (shoutout to Danny Kim) was responsive and genuinely helpful during our evaluation. For healthcare/medical applications where accuracy on specialized vocabulary matters, Deepgram stood out Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deepgram?

Pricing can be hard to forecast when you're scaling a startup. Would love to see more transparent volume-based tiers for small teams. Otherwise, no major complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
