### 2. The best option to convert voice to text.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabián J. | Technical Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The speed and accuracy of transcription is definitely what we like most about Deepgram. For Supervisor AI, these two elements are critical. We've tested several platforms, and Deepgram is definitely the best by far.

Getting started with Deepgram takes just a matter of minutes. Once you've experimented with the integrated playground, implementing it using the API is incredibly simple. The excellent documentation will save you hours during implementation.

And it doesn't matter if you only need to process a few multimedia files, Deepgram is a robust platform that will respond excellently even under intense loads. In our case, we use Deepgram very frequently, and we've always achieved speed and quality.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

One area we consider to be an area for improvement is the ability to detect speakers on mono (single-channel) audio, but combined with the ability to auto-detect the language, there is currently a significant margin of error when asking Deepgram to auto-detect the language + separate the speakers.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Supervisor AI, we need to convert speech to text, but this isn't a problem thanks to the excellent results we've had with Deepgram.

 ### 7. Great transcription services complimenting our AI-driven solutions.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yogesh S. | Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The feature that stands out for us is Deepgram’s transcription capability with high accuracy. We have incorporated Deepgram’s APIs into our existing workflow with our technology for generating transcriptions of meeting recordings for our qualitative use case, where it generates reliable outputs with high accuracy.
It’s able to handle different audios and accents efficiently which is very crucial for us, considering our global users. The speaker diarization has also been an important feature for us primarily when working with focus group discussions.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The limitation that we’ve experienced in Deepgram is in speaker diarization in meetings where there are multiple participants. It tends to confuse speakers during group discussions where multiple speakers get involved and speak in overlapping voices, it requires manual review to ensure the accuracy of the transcriptions and diarization. Another area where we’re experiencing challenges is its inability to identify and automatically name speakers from the meeting recordings.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgrams’ speech to text technology offers high accuracy trancriptions which are important for our market research use cases. It helps us to process high volumes of data comprising of videos and audios, saving time and manual effort, the multilingual capability has also been useful for projects having local flavors to them.
Another aspect is it’s pricing where we’re able to generate high quality outputs in a reasonable pricing and automating the transcription process, which allows our team to focus on analysis and insights rather than repetitive tasks.

Additionally, the pricing can be a bit challenging for startups with limited budgets, particularly when usage scales quickly. It’s something to keep in mind if you're a growing company.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram is solving a critical problem for us by providing high-quality transcriptions for podcasts. Our entire product depends on accurate transcriptions, so without Deepgram, we wouldn’t have a product at all. ### 21. Transcription made easy for teams and individuals in our company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley W. | Speech Recognition Engineer, Events Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I love that Deepgram captures the audio and video, transcribing them with such accuracy. It’s worked great for transcribing client meetings and internal discussions. With the features to store and share transcriptions with platforms such as Google Drive, it’s easy to integrate with. If you attend live meetings or events the best part is the ability to transcribe in real time. Moreover, the AI itself gets better, so each transcription gets better and better as time progresses.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

One thing I’ve found annoying in Deepgram is that sometimes background noise causes problems with the transcription. Essentially the system works fine, but sometimes when a long transcription job goes a little long the system will lag. I wish I could also customize more to get the outputs how I would like them. They work well, but they still miss context at times, especially with technical or domain specific words and you still need to edit them.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Deepgram, we have found it has made transcription much simpler, saving us a huge amount of time and effort. I don’t need to transcribe recordings manually anymore and I can focus on other important work. We’ve streamlined our workflow, where my team instantly have access to accurate text from meetings and calls, allowing them to collaborate more efficiently and avoid the important details falling between the cracks.

 ### 22. Deepgram is What We Were Looking for All Along

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinivas S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Comparison with Amazon Transcribe:
We started with Amazon (AWS) Transcribe thinking it must be the best. After spending a lot of money (it is many fold more expnsive than Deepgram), patience (its inferior in quality) and time, we gave up.

Running whisper on an AWS machine:
We decided to run Whisper on an Amazon machine. Afterall Whisper is free and we would only pay for compute. The quality was definitely better. But we soon realized that with T@ large ($500/month) we were experiencing very high latency during peak hours of the day and we were still paying for the idle compute at remaining hours.

Switch to Deepgram:
After switching to Deepgram we found out that not only they are high quality, they are faster (latency of less than a minute for audio files upto an hour) , cheaper (no need for idle compute, only pay per use), and same quality as whisper with one of their models we chose called Nova (they also offer two other models including Whisper and one more).

Now we are exploring their real time transcription, LLM for real time analysis of streams, and also infrastructure needed to develop voice bots.

I highly recommend Deepgram to anyone!

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Nothing so far that we found. We have been completely happy with the service.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Voice recognition of customer sales and support calls. Both post call analysis as well as real time analysis.

 ### 23. Transcribing audio is now so much faster

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose C. | Content operations lead, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

With their speech recognition Deepgram is incredibly fast and incredibly accurate, making listening to meeting and call transcriptions much easier. I also like that it integrates very smoothly with Slack and Zoom giving easy access to transcriptions right inside the app. This ability to work with many different accents and dialects is critical to our diverse team. Furthermore, the simple setup and easy to use API lends itself to customization of the software into answering precisely our workflow needs.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The only flaw I saw with Deepgram as it misinterprets an audio with lots of background noise. It does well on quiet environments but the transcription quality falls when there is noise interference. And it sometimes misunderstands technical parlance, which I have to correct by default. It’s not all bad though, it would simply be nice for customer support to be a little quicker because sometimes they take a while to respond to more complex questions.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram significantly improved our workflow through elimination and automation of meeting transcription and call transcription. We can now save a ton of time by spending it reviewing transcripts, rather than spending hours transcribing audio. It also allows us to keep on meeting documentation and follow ups and make sure that nothing is missed. Transcriptions are no longer prone to errors, the accuracy and speedy level helps us to communicate within our team and makes our productivity better.

 ### 24. The most accurate and reliable real-time transcription service

Deepgram provides the most accurate and reliable transcription service for us with real-time capabilities. Diarization is the best in the industry across competitors. Deepgram provides a cost-effective option to enable digital assistants.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Speaker diarization is not necessarily fully accurate; we wish there was features for real-time intent for conversational control

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time speech to text services. We are able to leverage the real time ability of speech transcription to enable our voice assistants with the minimized latency.

 ### 25. Easy to use API

Deepgram provides a high quality transcription from audio recordings that we can count on to use in our system as well as for our enterprise clients. We've been using the transcription service for several months and it has worked consistently and reliably over that time.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Deepgram has worked really well and our team really can't point to a dislike yet, despite using it for several months in a production capacity.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

We’re excited to see what else we can build with Deepgram in the future as we continue to innovate and expand our offerings.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

While we’re generally pleased with Deepgram’s performance, we’ve experienced some intermittent API failures, though these are rare. Additionally, we’ve noticed inconsistent expiry times for API keys, which can be a bit inconvenient.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram is helping us with a reliable and fast speech-to-text conversion. By providing accurate transcriptions, it helps us analyze the spoken content rom our users.

 ### 28. Great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Product works consistently and the team is very approachable. The product can handle high concurrency, and comes with the main transcription features we need, specifically grammar and speaker labelling.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Deepgram do not store results, so you will have to handle this on your side. Because of this limitation, results are sent to you via a webhook, which is fine for production, but you will have to setup a development environment to receive results at your webhook. Language detection struggles with different English accents and can misidentify.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Audio transcription with grammar and speaker labeling.

 ### 29. Deepgram provides accurate and fast transcription for real-time applications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram offers incredibly fast multi-channel TTS services, which are perfect for handling multiple audio streams efficiently.
The support for around 30 languages makes it versatile for global applications.
Additionally, the audio intelligence feature for intent detection is super useful, providing valuable insights that enhance the accuracy and depth of our transcriptions. Integration is seamless, and the performance is consistently reliable.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The service can be a bit pricey for startups with tight budgets, especially if usage scales quickly.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram is solving the challenge of providing accurate and fast real-time transcription, which is essential for our business. Our interview copilot and mock interview features rely heavily on immediate, real-time feedback to guide users during their interview process. **What do you like best about Deepgram?**

We use Deepgram's Speech-to-Text in our products. By and large, the product works as advertised and it's straightforward to use and is generally perfomant.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Some things of concerns:
1.Deepgram had a lot of issues transcribing repeated zeros correctly e.g. when transcribing “eight hundred” phone numbers i.e. when someone says "the phone number is eight hundred two three zero six nine seven five”, smart formatting transcribes as “802306975” i.e. “80” instead of “800”; this was repeatedly a problem for us
2. Deepgram's streaming audio speech_final parameter does not reliably work for us

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram provides the speech-to-text part of our AI voice agent product

 ### 31. Great for healthcare applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram API has been a great for our healthcare application. Its real-time transcription is incredibly fast and accurate, enabling low-latency AI-patient conversations without interruptions. The API handles medical jargon effectively with their medical model. Specific words can also be boosted if needed. Integration was easy, and it scales effortlessly with our needs.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Documentation can be more robust. We found some common use-cases with no ways to achieve it according to the documentation. Their Discord support was excellent though so we ended up getting custom help from their team to uncover undocumented functionalities.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a Speech-to-text solution that can handle real-time transcription.

 ### 32. DEEPGRAM ASR AND TTS REVIEW

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mukunda D. | Co-Founder & CTO AI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram has never stopped even after going leaps and bounds on the ASR side. They have shown stronger commitment with their latest TTS system called Aura which actually helps customers to stick to one company for both ASR and TTS. this is actually very helpful. They have lots of good documentation and this helps the developer community to get a quick start on their solutions. Ease of implementation starts with good documentation. Deepgram APIs and their simplistic approach towards the APIs even tho they are building complicated models to get state of the art Voice models actually makes it easy to use .

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Their models and APIs are yet to give full feature of sentiment and emotion detections in real time speech. as of now its restricted to detecting and predicting emotions for offline audio files where as it will be more useful for real time scenarios. hope that feature comes soon.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram solves ASR and includes multiple language support with lowest latency. Lately they started the TTS models as well with the introduction of Aura and this seems to be promising.

 ### 33. Reliable solution for high transcription accuracy for customer interactions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin L. | Customer Support Representative, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I especially like how the use of Deepgram brings out the transcription accuracy aspect. It does record even the most detailed interactions and this means our customer relations are much better. There are many useful features on it, such as real time processing and the language it supports. Moreover, their customer support helps us sort out any problems that we may come across. All in all, I can conclude that Deepgram has greatly benefited our work process and increased productivity.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The main disadvantage of the Deepgram is that it has issues with transcriptions that contain the accent and can lead to misunderstandings in customer support. This results in time delay in the issue resolution processes and procedures. Also, the implementation was to some extent difficult and required more technical knowledge, which at first hindered our progress. Although these could be considered minor problems, they have once in a while impacted our efficiency.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram helps us without having to sit and manually try to decode the conversations customers have had on the phone with us. With the real time transcription feature, we can easily freeze the flow and transcribe the content captured about our services from the customers hence improving on the existing services. The process integration with our current applications means that we can optimize workflows and increase productivity of our teams. This has benefited our customers and enhanced the company’s productivity by many folds.

 ### 34. Great Product, and Really Great People

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey P. | Co-Founder / CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I have been using for 2+ years. Their product is very good and they are always coming out with improvements. We build video and audio accessibility products so having a good transcript / srt file is imperative. The support and sales people are very responsive and helpful. The pricing is very competitive and they have great programs for startup organizations. The integration points are well documented and the customer dashboard is easy to understand. We can quickly try out new options with little programming.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

There isn't much that I don't like about Deepgram. Some of their models don't fit my use case, but I don't have to use them. I think they are very fair and helpful

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our product, Ziotag, requires a transcript / srt file to generate the Table of Contents our clients count on. The Deepgram engine produces a very good srt file quickly and at a very fair price. The better the SRT file the better my product is going to perform.

 ### 35. One of the best products I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Femi O. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Generally, most 3rd party APIs are either just ok or they suck. Deepgram is one of the few along with maybe Stripe that genuinely feel like they wrote their documentation with actual devs in mind, covering everything from use cases to the inner workings of their classes. Very easy to implement and get started with for how complex transcription can be, and it still feels like a cheat code for it to be this fast and affordable.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Nothing, which is rare. My only wish is that it was easier to work with live audio data in a more declarative way. Additionally, I think they need more documentation around system design, e.g. building with Deepgram in a scaleable way with websockets, cloud services, etc.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Deepgram to build a SaaS/CRM product, allowing for live transcription of phone calls without huge loads on my server or obscenely expensive APIs.

 ### 36. Really fast and accurate transcriptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Since we started using Deepgram, it has been incredible. The best part is its low latency and really fast, accurate transcription. Before Deepgram, we struggled to transcribe videos quickly enough; it often took too long and sometimes failed. I looked at several providers, but Deepgram was the fastest and most accurate. Plus, we didn’t need to host a transcription model, making it much easier for our engineering team to build. Their team has been easy to work with, and we were able to get up and running pretty quickly. We use it frequently for our transcription needs and are planning to experiment with several of their models and their new Text-to-Speech feature.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

One thing that would’ve been more helpful is having an endpoint to automatically generate high-quality chapters with timestamps for videos. I would’ve loved a simple endpoint with customization options for this. Ultimately, we built this in-house and are happy with how it came out, but I would’ve preferred to spend more time on other roadmap items.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram helps us transcribe a wealth of videos and audio quickly and accurately for our customers, so we can analyze and generate content from it. This allows us to focus on the generation part instead of building infrastructure for speech transcription and sentiment analysis.

 ### 37. Exceptional Partner for Early-Stage Startups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saran S. | Co-founder / President, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram has been an invaluable partner for Insight Health. I evaluated a few other Speech-To-Text products, and Deepgram has the lowest latency, fewer errors, and well-documented APIs. We got HIPAA BAA signed quickly and had everything up and running in production within a week. Deepgram is easier to do business with as a startup. They have a great startup program to get started and scale with them.

They iterate quickly, releasing new models, features, and products—Nova 2 and Aura are examples. If you're an early-stage startup looking for reliable, efficient, and innovative NLP solutions, Deepgram is hard to miss.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

One area for improvement is their logging and troubleshooting capabilities. Currently, the logging is somewhat limited, making diagnosing and resolving issues challenging. Enhancing the logging features would greatly aid in troubleshooting during issues.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram provides Natural Language Processing (Speech-To-Text) capability in our product.

 ### 38. Probably best tts and stt API out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wenzhe S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram offers impressive speech recognition capabilities backed by powerful deep learning. Its real-time transcription is fast and accurate, and the developer-friendly API simplifies integration. Whether analyzing calls, creating captions, or powering voice bots, Deepgram delivers consistently high performance with flexible customization. Overall, it’s a fantastic tool for anyone seeking reliable speech-to-text solutions.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

We would love to see more language support, a custom voice, and even better cost over time.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use API

 ### 39. Boost your workflow with this high accuracy and real time transcription

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesca G. | Senior Data Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

What I liked most about Deepgram is that it has one of the highest transcription accuracy levels. It is unique because of all the options, such as live captions and subtitles in different languages. This high level of accuracy reduces the amount of time that is required for manual edits and thus more time can be spent on client relation, so it has greatly enhanced the efficiency of our work.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The one drawback of Deepgram is the possible delay that users may experience especially during the periods when many people are browsing the site. This delay can become rather irritating, particularly if we want a real time transcription during a meeting. Furthermore, they could improve the responsiveness of their customer support agents. Sometimes the problems cause delays and to get a solution it may be time consuming. These weaknesses have potential to compromise our system and cause slight hitches which affect the speed at which we reply to our clients.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram has been a game changer here by solving our transcription accuracy problems. It saves time spent on correction that can be useful for all members of the particular team. Most of our communication tools are integrated with the software, and as such, transcriptions are done almost in real time, enhancing our efficiency and communication. This has made our meeting more productive and our work, in general, more efficient since we can spend more time on pertinent issues instead of discordant notes.

 ### 40. Dependable service for voice transcriptions

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram is great for speech to text transcription. Very reliable most of the time.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The enterprise support team takes a long time to get back to you sometimes.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram allows me to easily transcribe speech to text, necessary for my business.

 ### 41. Perfect balance between performance and cost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tunde A. | Senior Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Having tried multiple transcription vendors, one of the reasons we've stuck with Deepgram is that it gives us super quick transcriptions for a decent price. Other vendors we tried were a lot more expensive with higher latency on a 90 minute transcription.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Sometimes the Deepgram algorithm over emphasises custom keywords...replacing previously correct keywords with a custom keyword. This is likely an industry wide challenge as the ASR technology space matures.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Voice recognition across multiple languages.

 ### 42. Speech to Text works like a charm - Tests are better than other servies

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay W. | CIO, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Speech to text and multiple languages support

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Still not all languages are supported as compared to other providers. cant wait for more.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using deepgram for our speech to text transcribe Saas Platform.

 ### 43. Deepgram is almost real time and has an awesome clinical STT Model

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2024

Deepgram did a great job building a community around their speech-related AI models. Their support to the community is phenomenal, whether it's about implementation issues or resolving support tickets. We also appreciate that they have a special medical AI model, which has helped us tremendously in our venture. Lastly, their transcription is almost real-time, which is fantastic. We are very excited to try their streaming model as well. The documentation is very comprehensive and very easy to understand. We use it almost for everything related to Speech to Text.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

It's a bummer that they don't support Arabic yet.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram helping us tackle the documentation issues in dentistry. We are an AI scribing tool customized for dentistry.

 ### 44. High Quality transcription, low latency, but poor documentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adnan A. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The transcriptions Deepgram produce are of a very High Quality, not just for English, but for Hindi as well as mixed Hindi + English. Furthermore, Deepgram also has very low latency. Much lower than OAI.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Our developers are still finding it hard to integrate due to lack of documentation. Sometimes I get error in the playground as well. If you create some examples that are colab supporting as well as on js, it will make it much easier to implement it in our workflow.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are building a research assistant for humanities researchers where they describe what research they want to do and we give them relevant sources. We are currently using Google Cloud API, but will switch to Deepgram as soon as there is an easier documentation.

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram is fast, accurate, and handles medical jargon mosly well. It’s easy to implement and integrates seamlessly with our architecture, saving us tons of time

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

It struggles slightly with heavy accents or non english input, and the price might be a bit steep, especially if you opt-out of their training program.

 ### 50. Reppls review (https://reppls.com)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Ease of development is really nice. Many options like setiing of end of speach and smart formatting. Pricing models are also good.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I do not dislike anything but there is couple of things which may make our life better
Our startup work with live audio stream with voice
We actively use on premise VAD for detecting user speach start/end. It consume a lot of CPU so we would be happy to use Deepgram VAD, but there is no way to set up it.
Default VAD event 'speach start' triggered not only on speach but a lot of other sounds like a cought or chair squiking. So it would be nice to be able to adjust sensetiviry. Or get ongoing event stream like (voice/silence) to manage it on our side.
Also we tried TTS but still useing open Ai one because voice intonations (expecially when using with stream, when we send sentence by sentence, not all at once) is not so good.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We transcribe live audio stream which we get from different messangers (like Zoom and Teams) in real-time
