## Deepgram Reviews
  ### 1. Transcribing Tool With Capability beyond comprehension

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

What I appreciate most about this platform is its impressive transcribing efficiency. It handles tasks with such detail that it can meet nearly any organizational need, from summarizing content to identifying both the intent and the speaker. Its sentiment detection capabilities are truly remarkable. I also enjoy how user-friendly the interface is. The platform’s ability to distinguish between speakers adds even more value to its summarization features, making the results much more meaningful. This platform also have a reasonable pricing.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I would have been a complete fan of this platform if transcription were supported for several major world languages. Expanding language support would have enhanced the platform's versatility. The user may also take a little bit of time in leaning to use the full capabilities and features of this platform.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool enhances our team's efficiency by decoding lengthy speeches or meetings and pinpointing the main ideas within audio files. By summarizing long audio into shorter, more manageable segments, it allows us to quickly grasp the key points, ultimately boosting the team's overall productivity.

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I find Deepgram's speech-to-text models crucial for our AI interview product because they are among the very few APIs that are super reliable. The low latency performance is exceptional, especially since our product operates in real time and requires real-time streaming. Deepgram has provided a highly reliable solution with uptime much greater than 99.9 percent. The multilingual capabilities are integral, allowing us to conduct interviews in various languages, which is crucial for our diverse clientele in India. The customer support from Deepgram is outstanding and prompt, which is particularly beneficial for our small startup, positioning it above most other AI service providers. Additionally, the Deepgram API's developer-friendly interface made the initial setup straightforward and easy. Overall, these features collectively make Deepgram indispensable for our operations.

  ### 4. Deepgram a Perfect Service Provider for speech and text services

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 21DCE003 P. | SDE 1, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

i am an existing customer of deepgram and uses it's services in our product by using its speech service api. the quality in speech to text is top level quality provided by deepgram with many additional supports including custom prompt option for accuracy enhancement, entity anaysis option, keywords detection, and other rich suppport given by deepgram that makes it very customizable. and one more thing is developer page is very insightful and easy to understand with its clean ui and proper documentation. on first login they provides around $200 credit that very helpful for testing.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

One thing that i expect more from deepgram is language support, currently nova-2 and nova-3 model of deepgram comes with less number of languages, but i'm appreciating deepgram because its continuously working on it for enhancements.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram Continuosly working on language support, currently nova-2 and nova-3 models are comes with less number of language support (Ex: Nova-3 supported languages are: English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Russian, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, and Dutch), but deepgram working on the language support and enhancing it.

  ### 5. The Most Suitable STT Solution for german voice agents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hendric M. | Co-CEO / CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

We love Deepgram because low latency is absolutely critical for our voice agents. Deepgram’s Nova 2 and Nova 3 models are extremely fast while still delivering the high accuracy we need. This is especially true for German, where many other models quickly lose precision — but Deepgram continues to perform reliably.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

There’s actually very little to complain about. The only point that was a bit challenging for us in the past was that the Nova 3 model didn’t yet include a specifically trained German version. From what we understand, this has now been addressed — so that concern is resolved. Other than that, the only small inconvenience is that invoices for pay-as-you-go plans can’t be accessed directly via the dashboard.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram transcribes telephone audio into text for us, enabling fast and seamless voice orchestration. This allows our voice agents to respond in real time and ensures that conversations feel natural and fluent. Without Deepgram’s low-latency, high-quality transcription, this level of interaction would not be possible.

  ### 6. Industry Leading Voice Solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram provides top-of-the-line tools when working with audio-based solutions. The documentation is generally good and easy to integrate.

Nova 2+3 are a significant improvement over some of the competition we tried and are easy to integrate and use. The recent add of a multilingual model in nova-3 covering a broad range of languages has been extremely helpful in our translation solution. Additionally, low latency is a major part of what our translation solution needs and deepgram's STT is one of the lowest latency solutions we have tried in terms of first-response.

The deepgram voice models are especially well suited for pronunciation and have a very natural tone when doing so - which is important for intake events and confirming user information over voice which is inherently unreliable for specific data items like name or phone number.

The deepgram agent api is a huge improvement over manually glue-ing STT, TTS, and an LLM together and managed orchestration for it sped up our development of an agentic voice solution by manyfold.

The partner program allows for communication with deepgram that smaller teams and orgs normally wouldn't have. They have helped us address issues as well as work through implementation details that were hard to implement or hard to miss.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Deepgram doesn't have the language support of some other providers, which can be limiting - but they have worked to expand the number of languages they support.

The prices all include the "model improvement program" which can't be used for all of our industry applications - so the actual price is 2x when used in that way.

When we built the agent API the docs were not up to date with the latest deployed version of the model so there was a lot of guess and check to figure out what was actually supported.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer several audio-based solutions using Deepgram products:
- Real-time voice translation on phone calls
  - We use Deepgram's STT and optionally TTS to transcribe, translate, then play audio in the translated language to the other party on a call, enabling seamless communication between two users who don't speak the same language
- Agentic Call-Center Claim Intake
  - Using Deepgram's voice agent API + nova-2/3 we let users call in and use AI to collect their information to process their claim

The advantages of using Deepgram for both of these solutions are:
- Low latency, allowing us to have near-natural timing of time-sensitive audio processes
- Agent orchestration, rapidly speeding up development of complicated turn-based processes when conversing with an agent
- Natural-sounding spelling, which is key when taking critical information via voice and confirming data with the user. Many other TTS providers struggle with repeating letters and numbers out naturally
- Low cost, helping us bring advanced audio solutions to market without it being cost prohibitive

  ### 7. Superior Medical Speech-to-Text with Exceptional Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulina S. | Data Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

We conducted extensive research and performance evaluations for our medical-domain speech-to-text application and determined that Deepgram’s specialized models offer superior performance and latency. We also value the platform’s additional features, such as speaker diarization and precise timestamping, which exhibit exceptional quality.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Nothing specific at this time. One suggestion, however, would be to expand the availability of the specialized models to additional languages beyond English.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently leverage Deepgram for our speech-to-text tasks, and it serves as an integral component in our downstream process for structured data extraction.

Deepgram works on language support, currently its nova 2 and nova 3 models of speech is comes with less number of languages but deepgram is working on it add adding more languages incrementlly it's benefits me because of my customer base is all over country they need all language support and also im receiving updates regarding that like recently they have added 3-4 languages.

  ### 10. Seamless Transcriptions with Robust Language Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan G. | Product Manager

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I appreciate the simplicity of Deepgram, especially with its straightforward API documentation that makes it easy to work with. The extensive language support is a significant advantage for my needs, allowing me to efficiently provide transcription services to customers.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I would appreciate better fallback capabilities. If Deepgram doesn't support a particular language, it would be beneficial for them to incorporate a system like Whisper or something similar.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for transcription, which efficiently fulfills a major customer demand and supports multiple languages. The simplicity of its API enhances our workflow.

  ### 11. Great transcription services complimenting our AI-driven solutions.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yogesh S. | Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The feature that stands out for us is Deepgram’s transcription capability with high accuracy. We have incorporated Deepgram’s APIs into our existing workflow with our technology for generating transcriptions of meeting recordings for our qualitative use case, where it generates reliable outputs with high accuracy.
It’s able to handle different audios and accents efficiently which is very crucial for us, considering our global users. The speaker diarization has also been an important feature for us primarily when working with focus group discussions.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The limitation that we’ve experienced in Deepgram is in speaker diarization in meetings where there are multiple participants. It tends to confuse speakers during group discussions where multiple speakers get involved and speak in overlapping voices, it requires manual review to ensure the accuracy of the transcriptions and diarization. Another area where we’re experiencing challenges is its inability to identify and automatically name speakers from the meeting recordings.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgrams’ speech to text technology offers high accuracy trancriptions which are important for our market research use cases. It helps us to process high volumes of data comprising of videos and audios, saving time and manual effort, the multilingual capability has also been useful for projects having local flavors to them.
Another aspect is it’s pricing where we’re able to generate high quality outputs in a reasonable pricing and automating the transcription process, which allows our team to focus on analysis and insights rather than repetitive tasks.

  ### 12. Accurate and Quick Real-Time Transcriptions with Deepgram

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoffrey G.

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I appreciate Deepgram's real-time transcription capabilities, which allow us to produce live transcriptions of health care conversations efficiently. Its speed and accuracy surpass alternative options like OpenAI, making our service delivery more effective. The setup process was straightforward, adding to the ease of implementation.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I find the lack of multilingual support, specifically for languages like Farsi, to be a limitation with Deepgram.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Deepgram provides real-time transcription of healthcare conversations, improving the speed and accuracy of our transcriptions, allowing us to offer enhanced services.

  ### 13. Deepgram is amazing for live voice transcription

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I love how fast it is and how easy it is to implement. The new models are extremely helpful with live translation.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I wish there was more language support, I was hoping that languages like Farsi are added.

We let doctors transcribe notes with their patient and we summarize the notes.

  ### 14. Best in class service, complete and accessible documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben M. | Vice President, Innovation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram API is fast and feature-rich. I've been using it for prototyping interactive voice systems and have often been surprised by how the developers anticipated the needs of my use case. The documentation and code examples are also extremely good, making it easy to get started. I actually point to Deepgram API documents and SDK as exemplary; they're very logically organized, easy-to-understand, and simple to navigate. It's amazing how even very good services struggle to get this right.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I've only used the speech-to-text features of the platform, and haven't jumped into the text-to-speech side. I'd be interested in an environment where I could use both APIs in conjunction to save on latency. As of the time of this writing, the SDK for live transcription doesn't support multi-language flags even though the API supports it, but that might be addressed in the near future.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm creating new applications and experiences based on multi-agent dialogue with AI. Deepgram is far and away the best out of the box solution I've seen. I've considered many local and hosted flavors of Whisper and nothing comes close. In particular the speaker utterance end detection and interim results events are leagues ahead for building IVR applications.

  ### 15. Deepgram STT for telephony application
