## Deepgram Reviews
 ### 1. Exceptional Transcription Speed and Accuracy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Osama A. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I find Deepgram to be incredibly valuable, especially due to the transcription speed combined with its accuracy. It performs well even with accents, background noise, or overlapping speakers, which is crucial for AI services like Wirevox AI that we run. The real-time latency is noticeably better than a lot of competitors. The voice quality offered by Deepgram is outstanding and not many services offer such high quality. We also use their speech-to-text and text-to-speech models alongside different LLMs, integrations, and tools, and it's been seamless. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and though help was offered by Deepgram's team, the detailed documentation meant we didn't actually need it. Our users love Deepgram, as it offers better accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency at scale compared to what we used before.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

We would really love to have more French accent/language voices. As of right now, the only available French voices are Agathe and Hector, which aren't bad at all. They are amazing, but our users would really love more options to choose from.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram improves voice quality and transcription speed with high accuracy, even with accents or noise. Its real-time latency surpasses many competitors, crucial for SAAS like Wirevox AI. We switched from Google's speech-to-text for better accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.

**Official Response from Emily Coleman:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Deepgram! We're glad to hear that our transcription speed, accuracy, and voice quality have been been up to your standards. Thank you for the feedback on additional languages and voices. We hope to have more updates to share about this very soon!

 ### 2. Reliable Delivery and API That Fits My AI Pipeline

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeison M. | Supply Chain/Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

reliable about the promise and delivery, and has API so I can connect to my AI pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

When I upload previously recorded audio to transcribe, it goes really badly. I get a wait/exit pop-up every time, and I couldn’t finish my work. I also don’t know whether it burned tokens or not. Anyway.

Also, when I try to switch the transcription result to JSON, it bugs everything out as well.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are building a Sales Intelligence dashboard with KPIs to improve our process and, above all, revenue. Deepgram is part of the pipeline, especially for transcription and utterances. It’s been great so far.

 ### 3. Flexible Offerings, Easy API Integration, and Strong AI Value

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The flexibility of the staff and the offerings. The API integration for several features is easy to implement across various codebases, and the AI is on the better end of the spectrum while keeping costs low allowing a better ROI.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The UI is a little difficult to use - especially if you're trying to embed their AI service into your own application instead of using their AI Agentic experience. The support is great - as long as you can figure out how to get to them. Finding how to connect to the correct person for assistance is rather difficult and not obvious in the UI.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We love it provides redaction in the STT and is compliant on several levels.. this is a HUGE win for our org.

**Official Response from Emily Coleman:**

> Thank you for your review. It's great to hear redaction and compliance have been a win for your org, and that the API has been easy to work into different codebases. Thanks for the feedback on getting to the right person for support, I'm passing that along to our team.

 ### 4. Effortless API Integration for Voice AI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I use Deepgram for building products that require voice and transcription live. I really appreciate how it allows me to easily bring in voice AI into my products and enables my customers to communicate with an AI agent. What I like most is the ease of using the API for everything. It's great how my agents can connect the API directly into applications with such ease. Additionally, the initial credits with Deepgram were quite generous, allowing me to get a lot more usage out of it. The initial setup is very easy, especially using agentic coding tools.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

There was one issue where chunks were sent in the wrong order. But other than that, it has been easy to use. I think that bug was fixed.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for integrating voice AI into my products, allowing customers to interact with AI agents through voice and transcription.

**Official Response from Emily Coleman:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Deepgram. We're thrilled to hear that our API has been easy to use and you were able to get a lot of mileage out of your credits. We're looking forward to seeing what else you create with us.

 ### 5. Easy to put in production

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I really like how easy it is to integrate Deepgram into an existing application. The documentation is clear and the API response is very useful, especially the detailed transcription data and confidence scores. It helped me improve the reliability of my voice features without spending too much time debugging.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

It would be great to have more examples for advanced use cases and clearer guidance for some configuration options. Also, improving some translations across the dashboard and documentation would make the experience better for users who are not native English speakers.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dg give to the startup i worked up a very good translate to give to their users

**Official Response from Emily Coleman:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review. We're glad Deepgram was easy to integrate and that the docs and confidence scores helped you ship reliable voice features without a lot of debugging. I'm passing along your request for more advanced examples and improving translations across the dashboard and docs. We appreciate your taking the time to share it!

 ### 6. Eases Speech Processing with Competitive Pricing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt B. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I find Deepgram to be an industry leader with good pricing. The initial setup was trivial for us, and compared to Azure speed services that I used at my last company, Deepgram is much easier.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I'm a bit frustrated by having to research potential NAT port exhaustion issues with our AWS setup while using Deepgram. I really wish Deepgram had a colo option in USEast-1 in AWS, given how ubiquitous that particular region is for US businesses. I don't want to self-host Deepgram at our present scale, but also don't want to rely on numerous public Internet gateway hops. That's unfortunate because we are presently stuck in the middle somewhere.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram helps us with speech to text and text to speech for our various assistants, enabling AI voice assistance technology.

 ### 7. Best performing for production ready voice agent. Optimisation scopes are there in text brain

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheel S. | Data Scientist II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The best thing is end to end voice agent. In a modular manner to select different choice of models for STT, LLM, TTS

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Relatively high costing, lower concurrency limits, not easy option to ask for higher concurrency limit. Low control over text to text model (only prompting at best)

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me for end to end voice agent with better performance then most of the competitors in terms of usability and user experience. Integration with the calling service easy and well explained

 ### 8. Smooth Speech-to-Text with Room for Cost Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I love Deepgram for a few reasons. First, their models are phenomenally accurate, which is vital for my extensive speech-to-text applications. I appreciate the flag option they provide to opt out of all data logging, which is super convenient compared to AssemblyAI, where you have to send an email to opt out of model training. I absolutely love the streaming option they have; I get live streaming feedback every second, and that makes it very enjoyable to use. The initial setup was absolutely smooth, and there was virtually no effort involved. I've tried many APIs, and Deepgram's setup was exactly what I expected.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I think one aspect where Deepgram definitely needs to improve is that it heavily penalizes users from opting out of model training program. What they say is that they directly cost you twice as much if you opt out of model training. I think this is slightly unfair and the multiplier should have been less extreme. I think it's fair to cost about 25% to 50% more, but not 100% more. Other than that, I have one feedback for Deepgram. I think it's high time that they release a new model because the landscape is very competitive right now, assembly AI has introduced a newer model and 11 labs has introduced a newer model too. So I hope they introduce a new newer model too because that is how the landscape is evolving.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for speech to text, allowing communication with AI at the speed of thought. It offers accurate models, an easy opt-out of data logging, and real-time streaming feedback, making it a key tool in both my professional and personal life.

 ### 9. Efficient Voice Processing with Slightly Robotic Tone

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abrar K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I like using Deepgram for its voice naturalness and latency, which are very important for our call center operations. The qualification process it offers is good, and I appreciate the TTX and SST features. Setting up Deepgram is very easy, much easier than other products I've used.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I think the voice is a little bit robotic, and improving it would be very valuable.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram improves our call handling by qualifying calls before transferring to humans, enhancing efficiency.

**Official Response from Emily Coleman:**

> Thank you for your review. We're glad the latency and easy setup are working for your call qualification flow. On the voice sounding a little robotic, our text-to-speech team is working on some exciting improvements, so stay tuned! Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback.

 ### 10. Fast and realtime voice transcription

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shankar Ram A. | Chief Product Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Still good at the low latency, high accuracy including streaming transcriptions

> Thank you for your review. We're glad the low latency and accuracy, including streaming, are holding up well for your conversational AI app. Thanks again for taking the time!

 ### 11. Fast, Accurate, and Easy Audio Transcription

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I mainly use Deepgram to turn audio into text for calls, meetings, and recordings. It makes it really easy to quickly get transcripts without doing everything manually. What I like most is how fast and accurate it is. I also like how easy it is to integrate and start using. It saves a lot of time because I didn't have to deal with a complicated setup. We were using another transcription tool before, but it wasn't as fast or flexible.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Sometimes the accuracy can drop a bit with noisy audio or strong accents. It would help if the model handled background noise a bit better.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use Deepgram to turn audio into text for calls and meetings. It saves me from manually transcribing audio, which was time-consuming. I like its speed, accuracy, and easy integration, which saves setup time.

 ### 12. Fast and Easy Speech-to-Text with Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I appreciate Deepgram's speed and how it gives us decent results quickly. It's nice that I can configure keywords with the model, which is quite useful. I think it's pretty easy to work with, especially when the workload isn't too heavy. We found it to be generally the best and fastest for our Text to Speech needs, which are the features we care about most. The developer docs made it easy to work with, adding to its appeal. Using Deepgram for our voice interview platform is valuable because any latency reduction we can achieve is appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Maybe just speed on the models and latency.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram is fast and reduces latency in our speech-to-text needs. We can configure keywords, and it’s easy to work with, especially for light workloads, making it valuable for our voice interview platform.

 ### 13. Wide Language Support, Needs Better Multilingual Model

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sudarshan M. | Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I like Deepgram for its wide variety of language support and low latency. It's essential for us to support international clients and respond quickly during voice calls.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I guess it'd be nice if we had a multilingual model that could actually work end to end instead of having to switch to a single language model. We switch because the single models are better, but we would prefer to use the multilingual model all the way through. Also, it seems like not all languages that we'd like to support are supported by the multilingual model (streaming). So we're left looking around and trying to find an alternatives.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for speech to text, turning audio into text to pass to an LLM, supporting international clients with low latency during voice calls.

 ### 14. Great product. Worse accuracy than whisper but fast streaming

I like that Deepgram provides very accurate transcription, which is crucial for our work in healthcare tech. Its accuracy is better than other models we've tried, like AssemblyAI and OpenAI Whisper. I also appreciate the Flux model for being dynamic and specifically built for voice AI, which we find quite helpful. Additionally, the credits from first sign-off are helpful, and the setup with API keys is easy. The accuracy of the models is impressive.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I wish the Flux model could be even more dynamic and tailored for voice AI. I'd like to see more models being made more frequently to keep up the pace of iteration for Deepgram.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram provides highly accurate transcription, which is crucial for our health care tech. It's more precise than other models we've tried.

 ### 16. Accurate, Low-Latency Transcription with an Easy API—Language Support Still Growing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Save hours of manual work

This improves productivity and makes it much easier to work with voice data in applications like customer support, meetings, and AI voice assistants.

 ### 17. Reliable Transcription with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clay S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I like the quality of the diarization with Deepgram, as it seems better compared to other speech-to-text services, which often have drift in longer meetings. The sentiment analysis is another feature we are using and it works well. The initial setup was very easy, and we were able to fully switch over within a day.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The rate limit is much lower than competitors. Forcing the customer to build the queue and pipeline rather than having that in-house seems like an odd choice.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for transcribing long meetings and accurately diarizing who spoke. The high quality of diarization and sentiment analysis empowers our business to extract metrics and improve customer performance.

 ### 18. Effortless Transcription with Market-Leading Accuracy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vikram S. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I like that Deepgram provides accurate transcription services, which help us summarize and provide insights to our coaching members. It's really easy to set up and monitor, which makes the whole process simple. I believe their models are probably the best in the market from what I have worked with. Plus, I appreciate that we don't have to maintain the service ourselves, and it integrates easily with Daily.co.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I think their startup program could be improved, not as many benefits for an early stage startup. Better credit tier systems or custom plans for startups.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram provides accurate transcriptions, which helps us summarize and offer insights to our coaching members.

 ### 19. Clear API, Effective Transcription, Needs Better Multilingual Support

I use Deepgram as a text-to-speech provider on our platform, and I find it cost-effective and easy to integrate its API. The API documentation is very clear, making the initial setup very fast and simple. I appreciate the speed and accuracy of the real-time transcription, especially the inclusion of sound effects that enhance the real-world feel when generating stories and videos.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Multilingual languages can be improved, I'm from India so Indian voices feel a bit below par.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for easy API integration and cost-effective text-to-speech services on our platform. The speed and accuracy of real-time transcription, along with sound effects, enhance story and video generation.

 ### 20. Great for Transcription, Needs Diarization Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wyatt C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The quality of Deepgram is overall quite good. I personally really like the Flux model. The detection of pauses and mid-sentence transitions is a nice feature because it doesn't complete a transcription for a sentence that shouldn't be a complete segment.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I think our latency is slightly bad, and we'd love a more reliable speaker diarization feature. Diarization specifically, was really bad when we tried it out. Would be nice if we could provide context (such as names) and have diarization work super well.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for voice transcription at Contio, providing solid transcription for meetings and improving our AI's voice interactions by handling pauses naturally.

 ### 21. Accurate Voice Analysis with Minor Rate Limitations

I like the simple API calling feature of Deepgram. The function is very simple and smooth to call. I also felt the Deepgram API was easy to use and it's faster. The initial setup is very easy, just pip install.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The token size should increase or the length of the audio which it can ingest at one time. Now I have to chunk audios to send.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for video transcriptions and translations, sending professors' lecture videos and audios. It's easy to use and faster than alternatives, with a simple API calling feature.

 ### 23. Efficient Real-Time Transcription with Room for Language Growth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kapil K. | Co-founder and CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I use Deepgram for our voicebot and what I like most about it is its availability and performance. The initial setup is super easy with SDKs and API keys available immediately.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I find the language support a bit lacking with Deepgram. There are a few languages where it tends to hallucinate because of the whisper model, like Arabic and Filipino, which it doesn't support natively. This makes it a bit of a pain, and I hope they add more languages in the future.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for our voicebot, solving VAD and realtime transcription.

 ### 24. Realistic Voice Modulation with Low Latency

 ### 26. Reliable and Fast Transcription, Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I like that Deepgram is fast and reliable, beating out other options like Cartesia and Parakeet on our internal benchmarks. The initial setup was pretty straightforward and fast, and that's something I really appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Customer support is inconsistent, it's hard to get in touch, and usually takes a few days for a response. We have to follow up 3-5 times each time we need something.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for transcription; it's fast and reliable, outperforming alternatives like Cartesia and Parakeet on our benchmarks.

I use Deepgram for speech-to-text conversion in my application. It provides a fast response with low latency, acceptable accuracy, and necessary privacy.

 ### 28. Fast, accurate speech-to-text built for developers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajnish K. | Salesforce Associate Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I’ve been using Deepgram primarily for transcribing calls and product demos, and honestly, I’m pretty impressed. The transcription quality is solid, even when the audio isn't crystal clear. It handles real-time audio really well, and the streaming API has super low latency, which is a huge plus for live apps. What I also appreciate is how flexible the whole platform is. Whether you're uploading files or working with live streams, it’s easy to integrate and doesn’t require too much setup. I also like that everything is processed and stored in the cloud, so I don’t have to think about infrastructure. Plus, having the option to add features like sentiment analysis or speaker detection gives it an edge, especially for more complex use cases.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

That said, there are a few things that could be better. Speaker diarization is probably the weakest link, it struggles when multiple people sound similar and sometimes mixes them up. I've also noticed that fast or overlapping speech can mess up the punctuation and structure of the output, which means I still have to clean it up manually at times. Setting up things like custom vocabulary or webhooks wasn’t super smooth either, it works, but there’s a bit of a learning curve if you’re new to this. Also, while they support multiple languages, it’s pretty clear that English gets the most love. If you’re working in other languages, you might run into some accuracy issues.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram has made it way easier for me to turn audio into usable, searchable text without spending hours manually transcribing. I use it mostly for calls, demo recordings, and internal voice notes, and it saves me a ton of time. Before this, I was either typing things out myself or relying on tools that missed half the words. With Deepgram, I can just send the audio and get a clean transcript back within seconds. It's fast, reliable, and accurate enough that I barely need to edit anything. That’s a huge win when you’re juggling multiple tasks and don’t have time to slow down.

 ### 29. Fast, Easy to Integrate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

It is incredibly fast and easy to integrate. The API is super developer-friendly and handles real-time transcription with very low latency, which makes building live voice features much easier.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The real-time accuracy is solid but not quite perfect yet. It occasionally misses a word compared to slower batch-processing systems. I know that is expected with live audio streams, but there is still some room for improvement there.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us transcribe live audio without significant noticeable lag.

 ### 30. Fast and Accurate Podcast Transcriptions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram has good and fast speech to text engine and also quite good language support and the best part is it documentation that has broader explanation of each options and feature usage and also the can't forget about the ask ai feature i think deepgram was the first where I found ask ai for api reference docs this and its quite accurate and helpful

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly I using its speech text and text to speech product for my voice ai project

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The documentation and support make it easy to use, and it’s simple to get help whenever I need it.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I’ve run into some issues with scalability and overall usage as our user base continues to grow quickly.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can serve as the primary engine in certain contexts, such as government regions or organizations with specific rules and requirements. It also works well as a fallback engine when Whisper returns empty output or fails. In addition, I like having an alternative path where the service selection is dynamic, switching between Whisper and Deepgram depending on what works best in the moment.

Deepgram enables us to generate highly accurate transcripts, which are essential for our AI-related applications.

 ### 40. We plan to keep using Deepgram - its not perfect but has mostly worked well for us.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

We use Deepgram's Speech-to-Text in our products. By and large, the product works as advertised and it's straightforward to use and is generally perfomant.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Some things of concerns:
1.Deepgram had a lot of issues transcribing repeated zeros correctly e.g. when transcribing “eight hundred” phone numbers i.e. when someone says "the phone number is eight hundred two three zero six nine seven five”, smart formatting transcribes as “802306975” i.e. “80” instead of “800”; this was repeatedly a problem for us
2. Deepgram's streaming audio speech_final parameter does not reliably work for us

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram provides the speech-to-text part of our AI voice agent product

 ### 41. Reliable solution for high transcription accuracy for customer interactions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin L. | Customer Support Representative, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I especially like how the use of Deepgram brings out the transcription accuracy aspect. It does record even the most detailed interactions and this means our customer relations are much better. There are many useful features on it, such as real time processing and the language it supports. Moreover, their customer support helps us sort out any problems that we may come across. All in all, I can conclude that Deepgram has greatly benefited our work process and increased productivity.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The main disadvantage of the Deepgram is that it has issues with transcriptions that contain the accent and can lead to misunderstandings in customer support. This results in time delay in the issue resolution processes and procedures. Also, the implementation was to some extent difficult and required more technical knowledge, which at first hindered our progress. Although these could be considered minor problems, they have once in a while impacted our efficiency.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram helps us without having to sit and manually try to decode the conversations customers have had on the phone with us. With the real time transcription feature, we can easily freeze the flow and transcribe the content captured about our services from the customers hence improving on the existing services. The process integration with our current applications means that we can optimize workflows and increase productivity of our teams. This has benefited our customers and enhanced the company’s productivity by many folds.

 ### 42. Boost your workflow with this high accuracy and real time transcription

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesca G. | Senior Data Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

What I liked most about Deepgram is that it has one of the highest transcription accuracy levels. It is unique because of all the options, such as live captions and subtitles in different languages. This high level of accuracy reduces the amount of time that is required for manual edits and thus more time can be spent on client relation, so it has greatly enhanced the efficiency of our work.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The one drawback of Deepgram is the possible delay that users may experience especially during the periods when many people are browsing the site. This delay can become rather irritating, particularly if we want a real time transcription during a meeting. Furthermore, they could improve the responsiveness of their customer support agents. Sometimes the problems cause delays and to get a solution it may be time consuming. These weaknesses have potential to compromise our system and cause slight hitches which affect the speed at which we reply to our clients.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram has been a game changer here by solving our transcription accuracy problems. It saves time spent on correction that can be useful for all members of the particular team. Most of our communication tools are integrated with the software, and as such, transcriptions are done almost in real time, enhancing our efficiency and communication. This has made our meeting more productive and our work, in general, more efficient since we can spend more time on pertinent issues instead of discordant notes.

The support has been helpful as well.
The features it includes like Diarization and filler word removal are great add-ons.

They need to work on their log and filters and full error logs.
A lot of the time the transcription calls don't run the data and return a q503 error instead.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram is helping us get the correct multilingual word-level diarized transcripts of long videos so our platform can understand the videos and produce accurate subtitles for the reels generated.
Our users have to wait a lot less to get the transcripts of their videos and we can generate better and faster results for them.

Using Deepgram for voice reco over websockets. I love the stability, ease and quality of the API. The transcription quality is near perfect. Pricing is also very good for our scenarios.

Things to improve? Would love gender analysis and more experimental features - custom ML models or the like - for more extensibility.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

No downsides really - maybe the only thing on my end is the keywords setup, maybe having it available at runtime would be easier.

I like how fast, cheap, accurate, and easy to use the service is. The 200 in free credits is also the main reason why I joined initially.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I wish that the voice sentiment analysis was good (It should really be doing valance, dominance, and arousal). The speaker identification also sucks

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm adding captions to a service and deepgram is what I'm using to transcribe the audio.

 ### 50. Great product but needs work
